If you’re going because you see that they serve Carnegie Deli sandwiches, better manage those expectations. Huge fan of the original in NYC, but the dry meat and mediocre bread are a shadow of the real experience. Not bad, but just not up to Carnegie standards. The shrimp appetizers were okay and the cheesecake was outstanding, but you’re paying a premium for atmosphere and location. Cool spot, not great service, and a bit of an all around disappointment. Probably a good spot to watch a game, though.

1st visit in while going to a STL CITY SC game and the experience was refreshing. Our waitress Shelise was so kind & fun to interact with. Her service was superb and gave great recommendations on food & drinks. I had the hamburger and I’d honestly have to say, “IT’S THE BEST IN ST LOUIS!” I’d even say, “It’s THE BEST I’ve ever had at a restaurant.”

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Pitch Athletic Club & Tavern, a brand new addition to the vibrant St. Louis Union Station scene. The experience was nothing short of exceptional, from the warm atmosphere to the delicious food and top-notch service.

Great atmosphere, plenty comfy seating options! With couches and screens. Great place to watch soccer. You can hear march commentary while still talking to friends. For march starting at 7:30 there is a15 min wait to get in around6. 5/5

It’s a rather fancy sports bar right across from the new Lou Fusz soccer stadium. They have a wide selection of wines and beer for you to enjoy while watching your favorite games on large screen TVs. The whole place looks like an underground celler which is very cool. The food is however just decent. The service is excellent though. What I love about it is that it is pretty much brand new.

Visited The Pitch for the first time today, and everything was stellar. The atmosphere was fire, comfy, and upscale. Our server, Charles M, was fantastic, friendly, chill, and attentive. We ordered four mimosas ($12 each), shrimp poppers ($12), and toasted ravioli ($14). Absolutely loved the shrimp!

Really nice addition to Union Station! The Philly Cheesesteak was excellent. We also really liked the garlic cheese bites (though they definitely could have used more garlic). Drink options were good. Interior was nice. Menu is small but options were good.

The food was amazing! Great flavor and quality make their menu items the best part of this restaurant. I love the atmosphere too. Our server was great. We will definitely be back again.

Very, very cool new sports bar. We were a little confused on the “athletic club” title (Midwest translation = sports bar). There is an abundance of large, high quality tvs to watch your favorite sports. We were there at an off time so it wasn’t too busy. I imagine this will be the March madness hot spot. Some of the seating areas have nice, comfy coaches and chairs. The soccer arena is across the street and it sounds like things get wild during the soccer games. The service was great! We sat at the bar and had fun with Kit, Courtney, and Ryell. They were very friendly and conversed with us throughout the evening!!! There are plenty of beer and drink options!! The food was tasty too. We had the fried ravioli, lobster Rangoon, and the Philly with cheese whiz sauce. My only recommendation is to lose the small bags of chips served with the sandwiches. If chips are going to be the side, just put them on the plate and lose the bag (looks cheap IMO).

Great addition to the Union Square area of St. Louis. Should be packed for any and all sporting events. Friendly staff, solid beer list, good food. Perfect place to watch March Madness.
