As a Texan, I love me some bbq. To my surprise, we found this spot and loved it. We got a mixed, three taco combo, (Hawaiian, Baja brisket and honey habanero and Mac and cheese) a two meat combo, (baked beans, mac and cheese, brisket and pulled pork) and chips and queso. All which tasted delicious. I paid $35 for all of this. Strongly recommend this spot. It was not busy at 4 pm on a Thursday, but I imagine it can get pretty busy on a weekend so plan accordingly.

Wow. What a find. Who doesn’t like a good and unique BBQ place. Staff were great, helpful, and quick with the food. Chips and queso are a must. And the honey habanero taco is the best. Be careful, that awesome flavor comes with a kick

Food was delicious! We got both the peach Burton sandwich and Tacos. Both were cooked well, had a good amount of sauce and the portions were great.

You can tell they just started, but are really excited about what they are doing. The food was very good and right size for a lunch. Tried their brisket tacos on corn and flour tortillas. Was very tasteful and satisfying. I will say that I’d like to see the flour tortillas lightly toasted. Would enhance I think with the brisket. Veggies they added were well flavored thank goodness. I will be excited to see how they grow over the next few months and get into the busy season. All around a great experience for only been open for 3 weeks. I’ll for sure go back to try other options and to see how they grow. Going to be a great addition to the local area.

The pit is delicious. Their service is better than any other BBQ place in town. I would recommend tacos or brisket. I have found their burnt ends to be overly fatty for my taste.

The Pit is my absolute favorite place to eat in town. The Baja Brisket Taco! It’s delicious! Also, you will not find better chips and queso anywhere around. Burnt ends and brisket are so good. And the Brisket Elote! I haven’t tried anything I didn’t like. The price is affordable and the staff is friendly and efficient.

BY FAR the absolute BEST barbecue sandwich I have EVER tasted. I got the peach bourbon pork sandwich. AMAZING!!! And good music. I beg the owners to open up one in Arizona.

I got 3 tacos and 2 sides. I’m giving it two because the flavor was decent, otherwise I’d just give it one because the size of the tacos are SO SMALL!!!! Like maybe 4 inches. It did not fill me up and the macaroni was flavorless. I won’t go here again. Plus it was like 14 bucks.
