We source our food from Regional farms and purveyors. The centerpiece of our open kitchen is a hearth oven that allows us to showcase the region’s versatility while staying true to its classic cooking methods. In our dining room, guests will find bare tables and exposed historic pine wood paneling, service that’s refined but relaxed, and a dining experience that’s unpretentious, delicious, and fun.

The food and service were excellent! Penny was our server, and she was wonderful. Terrific bone in ribeye…One of the best I’ve had in a restaurant The only annoyance was the manager, lurking on the floor and hovering around the staff. If not for him, this would be 5 stars.

Celebrating 50th anniversary at Hotel Roanoke. Our experience eating at The Pine Room was awesome. Excellent food and service. A little bit on the loud side but it didn’t bother us. Will be eating at The Regency Room tomorrow night.

Outstanding cocktails! The meatballs were also really delicious. Lots of flavor and seasoned to perfection. I went for a light bite and cocktails. Can’t wait to visit again for dinner. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Old traditional steak house feel.

Celebrated 10 years of marriage at this beautiful historic hotel and restaurant. Our server was excellent. I had the bone-in ribeye, potatoes & spinach. Hubby had the burger. My Ribeye had lots of flavor, juicy & tender. Our dessert was the seasonal pie with honey vanilla ice cream. Although I’m GF, I had a small taste & it was SO good. We are very happy we ate here & would highly recommend it.

Cauliflower was the biggest surprise. Excellent suggestion by our friendly waiter. My rigatoni was very good. Pimento cheese fries were good. I didn’t sample the other plates but supposedly they were good. Star of the night was the cauliflower. It reminded me of General Tso’s chicken in flavor and texture. Service was great until it got busy. We had eaten but it took a while to get our check and leave. We had a reservation but didn’t need it at 6. By 6:30 it was crowded and a reservation would’ve been needed. This was a Sunday night.

Went to The PIne Room last year for my birthday. Cauliflower was #1. Crispy and tasty! Flatbread Pizza and Falafel/Carrot Bowel was amazing. Excellent vegetarian options. The drinks were strong and delicious. Can’t wait to return! Gem in Roanoke.

Dined here 9/8/2022. This historic hotel was beautiful to start, I felt like I wouldn’t be impressed while talking over and I was greatly mistaken. Loved every bit of it! Very upscale and divine building. The food here was so savory and fresh! VA has pride in farm fresh food, I am spoiled now lol. Fries were delectable and seasoned to perfection and burger was juicy and tastyyyyy. I don’t eat bacon a lot but that added to it too. Service fantastic too, Must stop here if visiting.

Thank you for the surprise of my birthday. My husband and I had a great servant (Penny). She was so friendly and caring. I have allergy to spices. Unfortunately, they do not have any sauce without spices for the steak. Besides, the kitchen was so load and noisy. But in general, we enjoyed our night. Merci!
