My mother and I ate lunch here together , Iordered the Shaved Beet sandwich and was very excited as beets are one of my favorite foods. However I was disappointed with how dry the sandwich was. The flavor was good, but honestly it hurt my mouth to eat. Bare in mind I am very much sensitive to rough textures. A thin layer of mustard, or perhaps some vinegar added to the sandwich would very much combat this issue.

This has been one of my favorite places in the town of Davidson since we moved here. I also love the little grocery area. We’re always popping in for the Duke’s sour dough bread. The brownies are decadent. Even the gluten free treats have been amazing.! When I want lunch, my go-to has been the falafel salad however the sandwiches are good, too. They could use a bit more meat on some of the sandwiches (my husband loves New York deli’s & they pile meat “high” & a bit more servings of the sides would be nice, too. Charge more if you need to. He says he is “Willing to pay.” Go big!

I was really disappointed with this restaurant. We went to the farmers market on Saturday and wanted to get lunch to go. We ordered 3 sandwiches and not one of them was right. I ordered the bacon with fried green tomatoes as it was listed in the menu and they put Turkey on it. My daughter wanted the Turkey sandwich as it was listed and wanted bacon added but the only thing on the sandwich was the bacon and nothing else! Her fiancé ordered the bacon with fried green tomatoes with added Turkey on gluten free bread and it was on regular bread. I spent 50 dollars and not one thing was right except for the potato chips because those were in a bag so they couldn’t screw that up. I would not go back. If you get a take out order from there I would highly recommend unwrapping the food to make sure it is what you actually ordered.

Food was really good. Bread for the grilled sandwich were nice and toasty. Portion could have been larger on the White Hummus. Staff was nice, but food could have come out a little faster for the little amount of people that were there. Would go back.

Cozy little bistro with patio seating. Gourmet selection of salads and sandwiches (when we were there for lunch). Dog friendly on the back porch.

Ate here about a month ago. Was going through old photos and remembered this terrible sad which. I call it sad which because there was no meat on it, no cheese and some tiny canned peaches. This was like a picked peach ham and Brie sandwich was terrible. There’s also not much in the area of Davidson. I would go to Milk Bread instead. Also the vibe of the staff were un friendly lethargic low energy just didn’t look happy to be there. Maybe it was just the day, but overall verrry low quality.

Where do I start?! My goodness this place was absolutely amazinggg! I have a wheat/gluten allergy & it’s super hard to eat out for fear of getting sick. But gave this place a shot, crossed my fingers & enjoyed the heck out of everything we had. We did online ordering which was super convenient being a family of five. The little online pick-up door option was cute & neat.
