I want to preface by saying they really need to improve their take out system and who handles those orders. We have visited this new location a few times now since we live in one of the neighborhoods close by and it is really convenient and nice to have a new option for dine in and take out. The food has been consistently good, staff has been pleasant (with the exception of this recent visit) and even when special requests they’ve been very accommodating. Our last pickup order was estimated at 45min for 3 items and that seemed a little much for the day of the week and what we ordered so I called up after 20min and the person that answered said oh yeah it’s been ready… our food would have been cold had we waited the full estimated time. It would be helpful if we get an email or text notification when the food is ready for pickup like other restaurants do. Our visit tonight was the worst experience we’ve had but I don’t think it warrants a negative star review. We placed two separate pick up orders, under two different names, approached a server and she was absolutely miserable and very rude. I told her they were online orders and she snapped they aren’t ready yet, so we turned away and stepped less than 5ft to the left over to the bar and ordered two beers and a minute later she comes out with 3 bags totaling 7 items, there should have been 10 items. She assured it was all there. Ok, we finished our beer, raised our concern again and she comes out of the kitchen with 2 more bags and snaps “well, you walked away earlier.” You told us it wasn’t ready… we get home and guess what? One of our items is missing. I will give management credit they handled the situation professionally and apologized and even placed a $10 gift card in the bag. Thank you for acknowledging the error but the problem is with your take out system. If your servers are busy and can’t handle take out orders when people show up then have a bartender or a dedicated person checking and taking care of people picking up food on busy nights. Again, the service has been good up until this point and the food has been good as well. I just hope they improve their take out system. I still encourage you to give them a try.

Initially it took some time to get service. It wasn’t an unreasonable amount of time, but it was starting to border on it. Once they realized they were very friendly and attentive. They were even kind enough to comp. My drink without me asking.

I heard a lot of this place since I live close by. Decided to tried it with my wife. Keep on mind was a self seat restaurant, and I saw a lot of reviews saying that they took so long to a server to noticed them. For us we just walk in and seat and a server was already at the table with menus. We started with some chicken crack really good flavor no too spicy. My wife got an Philly cheesesteak and was really good but the Chipotle aioli was a little spicy. By server suggestion I went for Mac and Cheese with Buffalo chicken tenders really hot and savory. Prices are really good and the music wasn’t loud at all we are coming back to try more of the menu

We ordered wings that had FEATHERS on them and the tattooed waitress (she never told her us name) told us it was normal and never apologized, had an attitude. Bar tender (tall guy) was nice enough so I closed my beer tab with him and left.

We tried this location for take-out when it first opened and were unimpressed, but we have since eaten in once and done takeout twice more recently and had a much more positive experience. I appreciate that when I pick up my take-out, there’s a dedicated employee handling my pick-up instead of waiting at the crowded bar. The employees I’ve interacted with have been friendly and helpful. We’ve had the Meatball Parmesan (delicious), the Brisket Melt, and the Black and Bleu burger. The brisket and burger are generous helpings — they don’t skimp on the meat or the toppings which is refreshing! A great addition to the local restaurant options.

We have lived near every location at some point, and can honestly say that the food is spot on about 90% of the time (nobody’s perfect of course)…we love the staff; they’re always so nice too! Here’s to hoping they add this location to door dash ASAP because the other Wake Forest location is mostly shut off because they’re so busy. Keep it up y’all!

My patty melt just a burger on plain bread. The bread wasn’t toasted, burger patty was dry, the bacon was undercooked, the cheese was not melted. Also, the fries are filled with oil. This entire meal was horrible !

Food was great. My daughter and I had the fish and chips, and they were very good. My wife had the shrimp tacos. I ate one of them and it was really good. My son-in-law had the pork belly Mac and it was excellent according to him. Looking forward to my next visit. Wait staff took really good care of us! Highly recommend!

The food is amazing! The Korean BBQ pork belly mac and cheese is something that I wish I had thought of. Sandwiches are great, the tuna appetizer was perfect, everyone was super friendly… this is a wonderful place to enjoy. I also appreciated that despite having a large bar, the place is not loud. A wholesome and delicious experience.
