This is the second time I have ordered food here, needless to say that the sandwiches are excellent, today I ordered a Rachel sandwich without Russian dressing and instead I ordered it with dijon mustard in Portuguese Roll and also a caesar grill chicken wrap, and both were delicious . this place is more than recommended, there is no way to go wrong.

Usually enjoy their sandwiches. Today not so much. I ordered a chicken cutlet sandwich and there was barely any chicken in it. For a nearly $10 sandwich there should be more chicken. I was disappointed but food is usually good so I will return.

Best Turkey and provolone sandwich I’ve had! Fresh and tasty. Reasonable prices. Very clean. Extremely kind customer service- a rarity these days! Highly recommend for a great local deli experience.

I’ve been going to the Pickle Barrel since I was a child, and the food is just as amazing as ever! The staff is still fantastic, and the service is still A1. This is the best place for a quick bite or a nice sit-down meal. Everything’s fresh, made to order, and once again, DELICIOUS.

My brother and his fiance recently moved to Stratford and this was one of the first places we noticed. We went for breakfast and noticed it was spacious and had a variety of sandwiches. It’s set up like a deli but has a lot of seating space which was great! Their sandwiches are fresh and it’s now my brother’s favorite spot!

We ordered on the app. Their app needs some updating because sone options are in some places and not in others. We ordered for future delivery for 8am. By 8:20 am we called to see the status of our order and the lady on the phone was rude. She told me that she texted us that there was no driver until 9am. We never got a text, and when she asked to confirm the order she wasn’t even talking about ours. Anyway I went to pick it up. They seemed nicer in person, restueant was clean looking and organized. Food was edible but not amazing. French toast was okay, bacon was okay, a decent amount of it. Breakfast sandwich was good. Potatoes were meh. Mushy, need seasoning. Since we were home we threw them on the stove to crisp them and they were better.

Don’t know why I continue to give them chances. Awful customer service CONSISTENTLY, never once have I gone in there and been treated well. Also $10 for a bacon egg and cheese. Not worth it. Constantly disappointed. 0/10

This review is long overdue. The service is absolutely HORRENDOUS. the whole system they have is a NIGHTMARE. You will see 12 people all moving their hands and mouth but no food coming out. The straw that broke the camels back was when I ordered a very simple ham, turkey, American cheese on a hard roll. Picked it up and went to work. It was just ham and cheese. Called and complained (which I honestly never do because of anxiety) and the worker had to have 3 brain cells. Calling me back 4 times after I thought we resolved the issue. Will never spend a dime there again. Also the food is literally sub par deli food. Nothing special. Chicken cutlet is bland. Best edibles deli in trumbull blows this place put of the water.
