Limited staff, made for an overall bad experience. Waited 45min to sit, ended up sitting at the bar. Only drink order taken, with the great reviews, never stayed to try the food because no one took our order after waiting for 20 min.

I found this tavern based on Google reviews while traveling through the area. Glad we stopped. My husband loves the chicken balls at Thunder in the Valley – but we didn’t realize that this is the restaurant that makes them. I had a bunless loaded bacon double cheeseburger – very good. They had a good selection of entrees and sandwiches. The servers were very friendly and kept our iced tea glasses filled and the prices were good. We’ll definitely return.
