Stopped in after a snowboarding day at Plattekill Mountain. We enjoyed ourselves but felt rushed when we were having desert. Waiters and bartenders need to understand that we are paying their bills. Their job is to wait, not rush us out.. or we won’t come back lol.. don’t come to the table 4 times if the check book has not moved. It’s super rude. Also, the bartender was staring at us at our table. Otherwise, no complaints. It’s a problem anywhere you go now. People in the service industry just don’t care about how it looks when you rush your only customers out the door…

Visiting the area with my wife for the weekend and I saw this on Yelp. We made a reservation for 7, but we ended up going early as our plans around 6 kinda backfired. Upon walking in, it was VERY large but quite empty, and were seated promptly.

Food was ok, ordered the oysters they were great and a decent price. For main I ordered the Tomahawk steak , says it’s supposed to be 40 oz , If the meat was 16 oz I would be surprised. Be prepared to pay alot for a bone. The flavor was good but a little dry , definitely needed the butter for moisture. Sides were ok nothing to write home about. The dessert was awesome. Had the apple crumble pie , flavor was great. Highlight of the dinner. Overall was a good dinner but don’t think it’s worth the price tag.

The location was perfect, atmosphere was a delight. Food was exquisite. Most of all the server Alfredo was so attendentive, hostbilable and knowledgeable with helping us with the menu. And at the end of this amazing night my husband left behind his windbreaker and Alfredo run our to find us as we were about to leave the restaurant .

The location is a bit off the beaten path but worth the drive. The dried aged steaks are first class, the service was excellent. The tomahawk Stake for two was huge. We will definitely go back next time we are in the area.

I was in the area for an extended weekend. The restaurant has a very comfortable atmosphere. Staff are friendly and provide attentive service. Delicious food, drink and raw bar. The rack of lamb and Ahi Tuna were prepared perfectly. I highly recommend.

Great small town steakhouse! Service was excellent. The 40oz tomahawk was out of this world. Super thick, the dry rub was so good and cooked perfectly to our medium rare request. Please get the fireplace up and running. Such a beautiful place the fireplace really would add it to. It’s chilly out there!
