Look, I know I rated this place 3 stars, but it is not like the restaurant was bad, it just wasn’t great. The cost versus value received seemed a little off, as the food was only okay, but at a price one would expect good to great food.

Upscale place for the town with gifts, salads, sandwiches, and more. A little bit pricey but it’s good food and good quality so I didn’t mind paying for it.(I think my sandwich was 5-7 dollars) It’s a cute place in downtown Camden.

The daily special was chicken parmesan..it came with caesar salad and garlic bread, let me say it was better than any fancy Italian restaurant food I have ever enjoyed. I got chocolate and caramel cake to savor later this evening. The atmosphere was enchanting and the staff were so southernly gracoius, it felt very welcoming. The store features many homemade delectable treats, I could have stayed in there browsing for hours. If you find yourself in Camden Alabama…this is must. Talk about a treasure hidden in the middle of life in the south…this is it.

What an adorable place right in the middle of nowhere! We’ve been driving through Camden for a few days from our cabin to Beatrice. We finally gave in, did a turnaround and stepped inside. It smelled amazing! Awesome wine choices. Oils, sweet treats and very friendly customer service. Clean and inviting! Very charming! The red beans and rice were hot, fresh and delicious! And the sweet lady in the back, with that sweet smile rolling up pastries made my day!

OMG Good true southern upscale meals at regular people prices. The food was excellent today. They have a blue plate special each day. That’s it. No menu of 40 choices. The coolers are stocked with other yummy salads, sandwiches, baked goods that give huge variety. But the daily meat and three is a knock your socks off great! You do not want to miss this place, it’s one of those places you are willing to drive to it’s so good, even if there is no other reason to be there. It’s that good! Promise pinky swear. Yum, yum, yum
