This is an upscale restaurant that older San Antonians use to come to for special celebrations. The food is good but for the price there are better restaurants around town especially because we also paid for parking. The walls are covered with pictures of people I didn’t know except a few. We ordered the Sea Bass Oscar and the Salmon. The waiter was good. For dessert we had a Carajillo. We would return to try different menu items but not soon.

Tried the Octopus was very tasty but lacked the wow factor. Wife ordered lobster bisque was cold and the flavor was disappointing. I ordered the lobster ravioli and she ordered the Salmon. We enjoyed the wine and my old fashioned cocktails until our food arrived. First off my plate did not look like the plating photo and my pasta was a bit hard but extremely salty. I let my wife taste it too be sure it wasn’t just me,and she confirmed it. I never send my food back anywhere but tonight I just couldn’t do it so I returned it. They tried to offer me something else but I just cannot order something else if I return my food. My wife enjoyed her salmon and I ordered calamari appetizer after a while. Was also disappointed they don’t offer the creme brulee.Brule. I did ask if there was a change in recipes and she stated that there wasn’t but you can taste the difference.

Love this place for lunch. Superb salads and lots of choices. High quality, perfect preparation and superb service. Sat at the bar and ordered a steak salad. It was first rate and the Bartender went out of her way to be kind and professional. Extremely friendly. She made me the perfect iced tea with simple syrup and lemon. I will definitely be back. Always a sure thing. 5 stars.

Had a great experience. Staff was attentive and friendly. Food: steak was cook as ordered and was amazing in texture and flavor. Shrimp with pasta was delicious and flavorful. Sides were sharable and enough for two. Definitely will be back.

Food was terribly underwhelming. Ate with family of 6 and all of the food lacked salt, risotto was clumpy and dry, sent an item back for being cold, mushrooms swimming in oil, rubbery shrimp and I’m sure there’s more. I would give zero stars for the food if possible, outrageous for the prices they charge.

It is a pity that the staff is not aware of a tourist with children, yesterday we went to dinner, there were 10 people including 2 4-year-old girls. We asked for chairs for children, they never gave them, I asked for something to entertain them, they did not pay attention either, but it took longer It took 50 min to take the order and only the waiter was charged to serve us water and water did not allow it to finish, surprise was when more than 170 dollars was charged for pure water, it is a total abuse, I would not return for anything … for True, our reservation was at 7 pm, they attended us 45 minutes after our reservation, and we left around 11 pm, all because it took too long to serve …
