Very expensive. But enjoyed it a lot. Went with some work colleagues. Very tasty. Great experience. We tried the creamed spinach, the green beans and the hash-browns. All very tasty.

Went here with a large party for a work dinner. The service was very good (full marks) and was formal without being stuffy or off putting.

So let me start by saying that I love the Palm and have had tons of great experiences visiting the New York Midtown location many times. Being in Boston this week I figured I would try this location during lunch time. The restaurant is beautiful inside and it was packed, the negative was it took about an hour to get my food then when it came the steak was so heavily seasoned that I couldn’t eat it and sent the whole dish back. (I rarely ever do this) As I mentioned, I’ve had so many great experiences at the Palm in NYC both uptown and downtown that I’ll chalk today’s negative experience up to bad luck.

In short, great steaks, but you can go elsewhere for the seafood. The meal was fairly slow, but I blame that in part to a large holiday party The Palm was hosting that evening. It was just difficult at times flagging a waiter or getting water. To go through the courses: bread was fine. I liked the breadsticks the most. I started with the wedge salad, which had a great amount of toppings, but I wasn’t the biggest fan of the dressing. Next time I might ask for it on the side. I ordered the surf & turf and my dad got the ribeye. Ribeye was excellent. My petit filet was also enjoyable. Having not ordered it with any sauces, the flaky sea salt on top was perfect, bringing out the best in the steak’s tenderness and warmth. However, the lobster was lackluster. It had very little taste, even when dipped… and then smothered, in butter. I ate it with the mashed potatoes, and it was significantly improved. Lastly, the chocolate cake was great to share. All in all, I really appreciated the portion sizes. I wasn’t overly hungry, but I didn’t feel that I was given an insane amount of food.

We have been waiting to try the Palm for a while and unfortunately we chose Valentines Day. Service was excellent, the waiter was exceptionally nice. The food was not up to the standards we thought the Palm would be. The sautéed Shrimps were very oily, the octopus tasted like rubber, very old and soaky. I had to send the steak back since it was not cooked medium well and instead it was rare. As I said earlier the service was great both from the waiter and the managements however food taste/quality was not good for a 4 dollar star restaurant. Chocolate cake was amazing.

I dined here with my family for my Birthday last night, and the food was terrible. Good location, good atmosphere, great service, but don’t expect to get the quality of food that you would from any other similar tiered establishment in the area.

Fantastic customer service at the bar by Sebastian. The truffle fries were good. The pork chop was moist and breaded. I will get a naked pork chop next time. The drinks looked fantastic. I had the white wines. I also signed up for their membership too, $25. I will return here.

I had nothing but an amazing experience here! I am not the best when it comes to planning birthday dinners because it can be a full time task that exudes anxiety & stress (am I right?) but, thankfully Nicole was point of contact for my private dinning inquiry and let me just say, the professionalism, patience, attention to detail, clarification on any concerns, helpfulness, awareness, and management is absolutely IMPECCABLE! I couldn’t have pulled this off if it wasn’t for Nicole and her team. Our waiter Juan was amazing. Very sweet, calm, collect and was always alert coming by often for anything we may need. Large groups of people can get hectic, and overwhelming but he kept his composure, and was extremely respectful and professional. I am beyond words with their service. I would recommend them 1000% to everyone, and now that I know how easy this process was, I will use them in the future as well. The food without question was phenomenal, that goes for the drinks as well. The atmosphere was beyond beautiful and I am happy I chose to go to the Palm for my event. Thank you so much! I am extremely grateful for your help

Located in the financial district, The Palm is an upscale steakhouse chain popular for business meetings and for elegant dinners. I initially wasn’t planning on taking a visit, but their lunch deals seemed too good to pass on.
