Turkey Sundae
Turkey Sundae
All-Natural Oven-Cooked Turkey. White and dark turkey meat, two scoops of mashed potatoes topped with turkey gravy and cranberries. For many Americans, Thanksgiving is hands down is their favorite holiday. Everyone appreciates a Thanksgiving feast with all the trimmings, and that almost always leads to someone at the dinner table exclaiming, “We should do this more often! Why do we wait until Thanksgiving?” Well, now, thanks to Original Ferrell’s Donuts located at 1761 17th Ave., Santa Cruz, you don’t have to wait until Thanksgiving to splurge. Original Ferrell’s has been serving up the best turkey sandwiches in Santa Cruz area for the past 8 years. Our secret ingredient? We roast only flavorful all-natural turkeys. As our turkey sandwiches have become a big hit with locals and nearby business people, many customers have been lobbying for turkey dinners for years. We listened to our loyal following by adding a Turkey Sundae which consists of: white and dark turkey meat, resting on two scoops of fluffy mashed potatoes, topped with yummy turkey gravy. Oh, and least we forget a dollop of tangy cranberry sauce will top off your Turkey Sundae. We think you’ll love it

Staff was INCREDIBLY rude. Complained that we ordered too much and didn’t call ahead. We are a family of 4, not 12 and we are visiting from out of town and would have no way of knowing they needed time to prepare. Maple bar was more like a small loaf of bread with a little frosting. The bagel sandwiches were microwaved with American cheese, not cheddar as listed. Absolutely horrible. Coffee was epically terrible. Very disappointed.

Blueberry glazed cake donut was delicious. Very nice lady behind the counter.

Great place for a quick, homemade donut. My beautiful niece lost her front tooth while eating a donut here and she was treated with a donut on the house!

Fabulous donuts. There’s a reason this place has been around for so long. My wife and I have passed this shop many times and never went in until today and we have been missing out! The interior is a fun retro feel with a down to earth atmosphere. Vicky was so incredibly nice and made the experience. We will be coming back soon!

First time going there and it was nice. Really sweet lady at the counter. Doughnuts were good and really liked the apple fritter. She even gave me an extra doughnut.

The donuts and bagels were freshly made. Their service was good. The place was kept neat and clean. The person in the counter was very pleasant. It is a nice place to start the day with a delicious breakfast.

Donuts were a little cold but I came in at 9 and they are probably made early. Lady at counter was nice and the donuts are cheap.

Thank you so much for the polite service, the gentleman that helped me was delightful and all smiles. This doughnut shop has that hometown feel to it like back in the good ole days (childhood). The doughnuts tasted fresh and soft I brought 2 dozen to work and within less then 10 mins they were all gone!! #operationsuccess

I’m don’t eat a lot of sweets — their donuts are fine — but I think their sandwiches are great! I’ve seen the owner BBQing the tri-tips and they roast their own turkeys.

It was ok. The donut was yummy and the women working were nice. However, the glaze wasn’t super smooth and a bit ‘hard’. Would go there again. Recommend going there early.
