I haven’t been here since the 90’s and in a good way not much has changed. It’s still a great place to see some local bands, have a drink and feel like you’re a ‘local’ thanks to the friendly staff and other patrons. We didn’t get any food this time, but I’m looking forward to returning and enjoying the food.

Great dive bar with good wings and sweet potato fries. The roast beef was just ok. But overall the prices are reasonable.. The live music on Saturday night was great. I want to come back and check out the Tuesday night dead cover bands.

Was my go to place for local live music and now when I visit NJ. So happy it hasn’t changed much. Crowd is fun, service is friendly and food and drinks and exactly what you need! Lots of TVs for sports too!

Friendly and helpful waitstaff and bartender, good choices for drinks and beer, and a surprisingly large menu for a pub. The chili is tasty and available in a cup or bowl – it comes with cheese, onions, chips, and you can add sour cream if you ask for it. There is pizza, burgers, sandwiches, soup, salads, and the usual pub food. See pictures for a look at the full menu. There are evenings with live music and there is a karaoke night. Call ahead to find out about tonight’s music, karaoke or special events.

So much bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside. The food was great, the service was great, even the band was fun! I was quite pleased to find a place in such a populated area that made me feel as if I were back home with the small town niceties

Can I just say, holy moly! first time visiting the orange lantern and I didn’t expect much. I now stand corrected. It may look like just another regular bar but I can honestly say I had the most amazing chicken bacon ranch pizza EVER!!!! If you guys want to get your hands on amazing FRESH pizza look no further. this place has it!

This place is about the vibe…. you don’t go somewhere like this for the quality of the food or the exact pour of the drinks. This place is a gem because the food is made FOR YOU and the drinks are personally poured while talking to you or making fun of you. It’s a legit hang out spot that ANYONE can fit in and make their own high-school cafeteria table of friends at any time.
