Great find, very tasty items; pork rinds were delicious, mushroom raviolis were delicious, braised short ribs were perfect! Staff is on point, Tara took care of us and was a 10/10! Old fashioned drinks were made perfectly. The environment and atmosphere is very cozy, bourbon, Kentucky! We will definitely be back!

Well, we visited the old stone inn tonight and I must say it was a very very good experience. From the greeting at the front door to the great server and the frequent visits by the chief we had a great experience!!! The food was over the top awesome and when the bill came we were pleasantly surprised at the value for the experience. We have watched this location struggle over a couple owners but they have a home run from us! We will definitely make this our go to place for a great dinning experience from now on!!! Thanks to the entire team for a great evening.

Visited recently for the first time in many years, with a party of 11 for dinner. New chef is doing a great job and food is excellent. Portion sizes are large enough to split, though there’s a $5 charge. Short ribs were excellent as was the lamb shank. The chicken was just so so–not great, but not bad. I did not particularly like their Old Fashioned cocktail–did not care for the bitters. Staff was friendly and attentive. My tab with drinks, two entrees, and tip, came to $99.

Really nice, historical setting for a romantic dinner. We went on Valentine’s Day and the food was fine, but nothing really noteworthy. We were seated upstairs which is unique to Valentines Day, as I understand. It was a bit drafty you there. Great “off the beaten path” sort of evening, but the food could be better.

We recently had an event at Old Stone Inn and rented out the restaurant. Daisey, Chef, and their team were a true delight to work with. They made planning the event stress-free – a real gift for us during what was otherwise a stressful time. They were remarkably flexible with our shifting needs both before the event and during the event itself. The staff was very professional and welcoming throughout and many of our guests remarked on how well run the event was. The food was exceptional; Chef worked with us to create a delicious menu of local and seasonal foods and was very willing to accommodate a few of our guests’ dietary restrictions. The wine selection was also superb. In short, I highly recommend Old Stone Inn for both a regular dining experience but also and especially for events. I hope I have the chance to work with Daisey, Chef, and the rest of the Old Stone Inn staff again soon!

Excellent food and service. The BEST burger! Loved the deviled eggs app. And the lamb entree and apple and cheddar salad were fantastic!! So happy to have an excellent chef and dedicated staff take over this space. We are sold!!

From the regular menu to the specials, the food does not disappoint. Every interaction with the staff is welcoming and friendly. The ambience inside is calming and cozy. Can’t wait to be able to enjoy the new outdoor area. Well worth the drive to eat at Old Stone Inn! Make sure you save room for dessert.

This is the best fried chicken that I have ever had. I am from Texas and my family has gone here two years in the row after the Kentucky Derby. We look forward to this meal every year. The staff is amazing and so welcoming. This is true southern comfort food. Can’t wait until next year!

For the price I paid I was slightly disappointed. I had fried chicken and there was plenty of it but I’ve had just as good if not better elsewhere. The gravy with the mashed potatoes tasted something like it came out of a can that I remember as a child. It was beef gravy on mashed potatoes. To me that doesn’t quite go with fried chicken but rather white gravy would’ve. Corn pudding left a lot to be desired. Salads were fresh and very delicious as well as the bread was hot and yummy! The price of wine was over the top especially for a glass of Merlot. I travel all over the United States and that’s the highest price I’ve ever seen. Even in New York City it’s less money. $15 a glass doesn’t cut it. The service and our waitress was very good, however, she appeared to be overworked taking care of multiple tables. I gave this a 4 rating because of the ambience and historic value. But if I was giving it on food and service it would be more of a 3 rating.
