Stopped in after getting a procedure done next door. The bartender was awesome. She had a lot on her plate and did a great job taking care of anyone. She mentioned the fried chicken special and it did not disappoin. Comes with 4 pieces of chicken, cole slaw, fries, and corn fritters. Delicious.

Let’s get real! This place has THE Town feel!! Burgers are Solid! Do you drink? Beer? They got you Covered! Beer selection in front on display! You got kids? Bring the clan and sit and drink or Play Pool together while you enjoy the kids grabbing stuffed animals from the Toy Soldier and Claw their way to Victory! The burger and fried mushrooms were great! Service can be a little slow, even when there are only a few people at the bar, but it’s a good spot to stop in for food and a couple drinks. There are always plenty of tables open and tvs on every wall to watch the game.

Small town bar & grill with some slow service. A few locals at the bar gave us some looks when we walked in as if the regulars were taking interest in us. Wife & I waited a bit for the waitress even though there was only 1 other couple eating there while we were there. Food was decent. Set-up appears to be ideal for sports games and maybe reserving areas to watch games- seemed like a lot of unused space for that sort of thing.

We tend to go out a lot for dinner and very often food is served lukewarm. Here we had fried chicken that had tasty breading while at the same time served nice and hot. And it stayed hot as it was eaten. In addition, April, made the most perfect martini.. Excellent meal overall. Definitely worth the drive from Joliet. Very attentive and responsive servers added to the enjoyable experience.

Most of the bartenders are great but there are one or two bad ones. The food is just ok. I recommend the chicken tenders and hushpuppies. Overall it’s your average small town bar. The owners are very friendly and polite.
