In 2010 owners Steve Hicks and Dave Parks transformed their real estate office, Gateway Properties, into a bar and grill. Holding onto their roots and naming it, The Office Bar and Grill, the concept grew from there. The result: inside and outdoor dining, fire pits, TV’s, bocce ball, full bar, including imported and craft beers, and an outstanding menu and comfortable atmosphere. The Office Bar and Grill has transformed the El Camino into a Peninsula Hot Spot, whether you are looking for somewhere to watch your favorite Bay Area sports teams on the big screen, or looking for a fun night out with friends and family. This San Carlos, California watering hole is unlike any other, providing a unique niche for the growing community!

This place is dog friendly. I went with a friend who is a dog owner, and we were able to sit in the patio area with their dog.

Decent food during the happy hour. We spent $82 (inc. tips for 2 people). We had 4 glasses of wine, nachos, and lemon pepper chicken wings. Service was rather slow as it gets busy. We also went on a day where it was particularly hot. I can see myself coming back here for beer next time.

Good food, staff that hustles, wide assortment of menu and drinks, and kid friendly. Had an Anderson Valley Amber with my Tuna Melt. I asked if there were a lot of onions in the tuna mix, and Adam brought out a little cup of tuna for me to sample. Extraordinary. Lots of seating, but this place can fill up in 20 or 30 minutes. Luckily I got there early. I was really hoping for a Tuna Melt and not a Tuna Sandwich with cheese though. The fries are staged in the kitchen (had the right view to see it), and mine were warm at best.

Food was great, prices were decent, but toward the end of our meal, the waitress disappeared and it took us close to half an hour to get the check from her. Other than that, food was quickly served and excellent. This restaurant is in a great area but parking is slightly difficult to find!

Some day I’ll get tired of this place. Not sure when. There’s a lot of choices for beers, varieties of food stuffs, or cocktails. They can get really busy… but the servers have always been pleasant and attentive. Lots of TV screens for ball games, etc. They have bands on certain evenings too. Think rock and roll. Give it a try. You just might want to come back… that is, if you like casual stylings, good beverages, and great pub grub. I enjoy their grilled fish tacos (3 with chips), patty melts, or salads.

Every aspect is above average, food, drink, atmosphere. Only issues are it’s adjacency to the very busy El Camino, and lack of parking.

Decided to grab a bite to eat there tonight. Started with the Beer Cheese Fondue followed by the Morning After Burger and a Voodoo IPA. Food was excellent and the service was spot on. Definitely will be back.

Hadn’t been here in a while and it’s still great. Lots of outdoor seating with different spaces and styles of chair/tables. Lots of TVs. Great place to meet up with a group to watch a game. Happy hour goes 4-6 M-F and the nachos are not to be missed. We also got the beer fondue and it was delicious but will not make you feel great about yourself ….

Super fun place for dinner with the family. Portions are huge. My three kids (age 2.5, 5 & 7) could have easily shared the grown-up chicken fingers. Also nice to take the kids out and not have to sit at a table and wait.
