We are located in Richwood WV. We have redone our local pub and turned it into a family style pub with amazing food. We have games to keep the kids entertained while you are here. We do team trivia every Wednesday night starting at 7pm. We also do Footlong Hotdogs on Mondays, Taco Tuesday, Thirsty Thursday, Friday and Saturday we have different specials. We offer pick up and dine in. We also do catering!

THIS is not “bar food”. This is real home cooking from Taco Tuesday, to today’s Pot Roast sandwich and mashed potatoes, to some great looking desserts. I say ‘great looking’ because I didn’t have the room left to try them. It’s a beer only Pool Hall that seemed to be a lynch pin of community. Kinda’ like a social club. The VERY welcoming staff will make you at home should you make this a regular stop while you’re in town. ENJOY!

Nice friendly staff and friendly locals. My salad was ok. My friend’s sandwich was one of the best he’s had and so we were disappointed when we returned the next morning (Sunday) and they were not open yet.

The food was delicious! Heidi was so patient with our group. I have zero complaints. They serve Coke products. I ordered their Classic Burger and had a few of the pulled pork nachos a friend ordered. I enjoyed my first experience and appreciate the kindness of the staff.

The woman that was working was very polite and personable! She gave me alot of info about the pool hall. They have alot of activities every month. I honestly think it was better than whistle punk! To me its the best restaurant to eat at in Richwood!!!

We visited today and found a very friendly server. The place was VERY CLEAN and the hamburger was 1/2 pound of hand pressed beef, sitting in a grilled bun. It was big and very good! The best hamburger in Nicholas County FOR SURE! If you don’t go here and try the food, you’re missing out!!!

Saturday evening of a WVU game and our youth football team (who had just won the super bowl in Richwood) took over the pool hall. We showed up with 20 children and 13 adults, the waitress informed us she was short staffed so it may took a little longer, well she was wrong. Service was AMAZING, food was fabulous, and we never had a an empty beer glass. The burgers were juicy and enough for two, the curly fries were to die for, and the wings were out of this world. Thank you for allowing us to takeover the and enjoy our victory.

Don’t waste you time with the other places that offer adult beverages when in Richwood. As an out of state visitor its difficult to find a small town venue that doesnt make you feel like an outsider when walking into a local establishment. The atmosphere is inviting and friendly. The staff is funny and makes you feel at home. This place rocks. Choose the Pool Room everytime.

Ok … so the Story goes like this … on Monday 11/14/22 2:40 pmreturn part of a road trip from Tallahassee Fl to Frederick Md, Harpers Ferry WV, Washington DC. Woodstock – New Market Va & Summersville WV. … then Downtown Richwood WV. & sure enough We end up in the OakFord Bar & Grill, Pool Hall LLC … so … through the red door We go … WoW … this Bar was/is clean !!! With shinny coragated metal siding for the kickside, bottom half, of the Bar to the wooden walls with different items displayed on them … Everything was clean !!! The Red Velvet Cupcakes … were very good & clean !!! We drink …. We talked … We laughed … stayed until shift change … and the evening bartender was as attentive to all the customers as was the day bartender … Far above & way beyond, What could of been conseald behind the “Red Door” … I will fondly remember and return to this amazing, local watering hole & eatery with pool & other planned evening entertainment worth showing up for !!! Well I showed up, had a real experience IT will be remembered as … The Time Spent at “Heidis’ Hideaway” … aKa … The OakFord Pool Hall & Eatery !!! ~ din

I had never been to Richwood. We decided, on a whim to go to the ramp fest. We stopped here first. I’m so glad we did. The food was amazing! I think that burger was the best I’ve ever had. The beer was cold. The owner was our server, she is very friendly. Service was outstanding. The building itself was a throwback in time. If you go to Richwood, stop by here. It’s worth the trip!
