The Normal Diner has combined the 5 most delicious words….”Chicken and Red Velvet Waffles”! Wow!! There were two things that made this dish stand out. 1. The beautiful color, crisp, and light sweetness of the waffles was so good, I didn’t need butter or syrup (they would have taken away from the flavors) and 2. The chicken was boneless and one of the most juiciest pieces of chicken I’ve ever had at a restaurant. This dish delivers MORE THAN EXPECTED! I was so happy when I left and bragged about it to others!

It’s so nice here! The food is scrumptious and filling. They even have a little coffee bar! When we received tbe checks, they were served on little paperback novels. Despite its name, The Normal Diner delivers an exceptional experience.

I’m writing because of so many good reviews here for breakfast. As of 12/21 breakfast is down to a grab and go type menu and was very disappointing. I was hoping for a nice omelette, and ended up eating some Jimmy Dean’s breakfast biscuits heated in a microwave.

This was my first time in Phoenix and I had a blast. First thing that morning I went for breakfast. I was the first customer at 7am. I decided on the freshman breakfast with vegan sausage. It was incredible! The eggs were fluffy and so buttery. The home fries were so well seasoned that I didn’t even need ketchup. This was the first time I’ve been offered vegan sausage as a replacement. It was delightful. I absolutely love this spot. It is without a doubt one of the best eateries in the area! #ashsaidit

I really enjoyed my week going to The Normal. The breakfast was good and decent price. The drinks were nice and cold. The staff was super awesome and friendly (Max, Adan, Antonio and especially Alyssa aka My Boston girl!) they were all attentive and treated me and my co-worker like friends we known forever.
