Best Indian Buffet in Buffalo hands down. Best vegetarian offerings and best value at 18.99. There are four Indian Buffets available post-pandemic that I am aware of (Heart of India, Kabab and Curry, Shalimar BBQ, and New Jewel) and this one is decidedly the best. Only once/week on Thursday starting at 4:30 PM but occasional they have holiday offerings. Always have pakoras (or rare occasion samosas), Naan, Garlic Naan (included with buffet), six vegetarian dishes (occasionally biryani), four meat dishes, along with salad bar. Salad bar also includes cucumber salad and onion Raita, both are excellent. Includes lentil soup, Rosemilk, and chai tea. Desert has galub jamun, kheer, and fresh fruit.

I ordered the new jewel of India special. It came with so much food. Everything was so delicious. I had to make room in the container just so I could add rice. The curry was very flavorful. Was a great price. Will definitely return to try more dishes.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting New Jewel of India. This establishment had fantastic service and delicious food. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with warm, welcoming smiles from the staff. The attentive servers were quick to seat us and guide ask if we wanted the buffet option or to order off the menu.

I have eaten a lot of Indian Restaurants across NY state. This is one of the best I have had. The food is flavorful and fresh tasting. The waitress who I think is one of the co-owners was kind and attentive. I had the chicken curry lentil dish garnished with cilantro that came with soft fragrant basmati rice. I wanted to lick the plate when I was finished! LoL . Visit this wonderful eatery. You won’t be disappointed!

If you are looking for a great Indian dinner Buffet, this is where you need to come. They offer a dinner buffet on Thursdays. Quaint place, with plenty of safe parking right in front. Very clean, service was super. I tried every item offered on the hot buffet line. Everything was very tasty and on the milder. No super spicey items which is great for a wide range of taste to suit all customers. They do have cold salad items, soup, drinks (Chai tea, Rose Milk, Ice water) . They offer dine in and take out. Definitely coming back for this one. I do not often give 5 Stars but there wasn’t anything negative to tarnish a great rating. You could call this place a hidden “Jewel”,

Wish I had the appetite to eat all they had in the buffet. The spread was good. Don’t miss the mango lassi. PS – No dieting when you are at this Indian restaurant.

Great service and good food. It was unusual to see beef on the menu though. Maybe it’s just me but I have rarely seen any Indian restaurant with beef on their menu.
