Motown Bistro was decent. The food was good. I had pasta and chicken. The drinks were delicious. They offer many varieties of Margaritas. We decided to sit outside and black debris was blowing everywhere including our food. Lol. We still ate, had a great time and the music was nice

First, I’ll start off by saying the staff was great and very attentive. I went there for brunch this past Sunday and the atmosphere was LIVE!!! I loved it. But the food…. Thumbs down. I ordered chicken and waffles… Why did they come back with chicken and EGGOS . Yes, for $21 I got three pieces of fried chicken and eggo waffles.

Music was ready really loud and I normally appreciate loud music but when out to dinner you can even hear what the person next to you is saying. Other than that the food was pretty good. The Szechuan green beans were so good and they were definitely the highlight of our meal. I had the lamb chops there were pretty good and a decent sized portion of 4 chops. My husband had salmon and he liked it a lot but said the sauce was quite a bit salty. Overall decent place to eat at would try it out again.

My boyfriend and I came here for our anniversary and had a lovely experience. I really enjoyed the live performance – Sinatra-esque singing with a piano accompaniment. Our food was delicious (I got the New York, New York and had plenty to bring home) and our server, Marvin, was attentive without being intrusive on such a romantic occasion. I would highly recommend coming here!

Our server Marvin did an excellent job. He was very attentive! And the food was really good! I had chicken and waffles and cheese grits! Everything was good!! The atmosphere was great and with a live dj… loved the music!! Will be back soon!

Food was delicious but came out an hour after ordering. Sides were cold but meat/seafood was hot and fresh.Service was terrible, had to ask multiple times for the same thing, and we did not receive our complimentary dinner rolls/bread until AFTER I asked about it seeing as it was not on the menu but we saw tables around us receiving it. Waiter did not check on us at all periodically- only came to take order, deliver food, and drop off bill. The food/ambiance is nice, but customer service needs to be improved tremendously for me to ever recommend or patronize this establishment again.

The food at the restaurant disappointed me as it was served cold and tasted unpleasant. Moreover, the temperature inside the establishment was uncomfortably warm. Unfortunately, I had to wait for an hour before my food arrived. Although the music was decent, the volume was too loud. It is worth noting that the restaurant expects a 20% gratuity, which seems excessive. Additionally, there are extra charges incurred when paying by card. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant and will be looking for an alternative option for my next meal.

Walked past the building. It does need a sign that will stand out to the eye. From the looks of it, I thought it was Bert’s restaurant that’s next to theater. But once you get on the inside it’s simply beautiful. Reservations were made so I was seated right away. Waiter staff was very nice. The only three things I would mention now is they do not have a drink menu, no real air circulation and the gratuity is already added to your meal so don’t go and add extra when they bring the receipt. The food was delicious (my friend and I ordered the same thing but a different kinda cook on the steak it was mixed up. Maybe get a label for that) lol. And they also had the live band come in to play which was a nice touch as well. Overall a wonderful little spot to get away for a good meal. Just be sure to bring the good wallet because it will cost.

The first flag was the requirement to put a credit card on file just to make a reservation! The music was amazing. And that is all! The server was overwhelmed despite barely anyone in the restaurant. One of the “security” persons sat behind us and listened to our entire conversation so much so you would have thought he was going to respond. Sad to say I will NEVER return.

I frequent this restaurant and enjoy the nice soft music while I’m dining. My husband chose to bring me and my mom here for a nice relaxing Mother’s Day Brunch. However we walked into a club atmosphere with music playing way too loud. And we only wanted one glass of mimosa but would have had to pay $30 because it was bottomless.I should have the option to pay for one glass. For Mother’s Day the music should be more relaxing that’s what we need. Loud DJ music is for Friday and Saturday nights not Sunday afternoon. F
