The starters disappointed me; the veg spring rolls lacked quality and had an overly smooth stuffing. The corn seemed reheated and lacked freshness. On the bright side, the Gobi dynamite had great flavor. The Tikka fried rice didn’t appeal due to its curd-like taste, but the veg kheema burnt garlic fried rice was a true delight. However, I suggest choosing carefully, on which dish to have.

If you want to try Bangalore style donne biriyani in Dallas, this is the closest you can get. I’ve tried to find donne biriyani throughout Dallas but failed to. Although this is not exactly as what you get back in Bangalore, it does its job. Make sure to ask for spice level 4 or 5. The Majestic chicken was great too. We would’ve liked it to be a little more spicy but the flavors were really good

I visited Monk Restaurant with friends this past Saturday around 10pm. Despite the restaurant being nearly packed, we managed to secure an outdoor seating spot. Our waiter was a bit delayed in attending to us, but the wait was worthwhile. We indulged in an array of dishes: Corn Chatpata, Gobi Dynamite, Burnt Garlic Fried Rice, Veg Kheema Biryani, Chicken Ma Chop Soup, Badam Milk, and Oreo Cake.

Absolutely amazing !! The food at Monks is exceptional !! The place is beautiful and staff are super friendly. Do not forget to try Tandoori Momos, Corn Chat Pata, Gully Chicken, Chicken Street Noodles are my favorites. I am definitely going back and would recommend all food lovers.

Corn chat pata and Maggie spring noodles is must try appetizers. Chicken appetizer is not up to mark seasoned with more salt. Mutton fry piece, chicken & paneer kheema Donne biryani’s are good. Avoid trying veg fried rice which is very bland. Tandoori paneer momos are not bad. Good options to choose from fruit drinks

Good ambiance inside. Momos were tasty and the fried rice items were good. The veg Manchurian noodles was exactly street style, loved the flavor. The hot and sour soup was little bit thick, didn’t expect that.
