Happy to have this nice, Italian restaurant in Los Lunas. Joined a friend for lunch, where we were promptly greeted and seated with a smile in a relaxing and comfortable environment that was quiet and enabled good conversation. The quality of food was excellent as was the quantity, though it may have been missing some garnishes one might expect in a larger city at a bit higher price. For the quantity of food provided and the quality, I have not one complaint. Food was hot, pasta fresh, and service friendly. Tea was kept refreshed. My Chicken Parmesan was tender and crisp; I have never had better. Friend said sandwich and side pasta were excellent. Will be returning here!

Husband and I had a great experience here. This was our first time here, and we found out about this place through a coworker of my husbands. The food was great and so was the service. The music in the background was on the older side like Frank Sinatra, Elvis, and Etta James for example. Which we enjoyed since we are both older. We plan on going back again to try something different. My husband had the Meat Lasagna of which he ate every bit, and the bread came along with the meal. I had the Chicken Marsala which was delicious, but to large for me and so I took the rest home with me. There were no prices on the menu, but it is about the same price range as when we go to a place like Applebee’s. You can sit and eat like we did and just relax and enjoy your meal.

This is a surprising little find. Most visits have been outstanding. But make sure you don’t eat here on busy night. Because you will find your dinner party left out in the cold. Hope that your wait staff is any other than Ellena, whom is not a very good server, and also because she is less than worthy of a .40 tip, and she tries to get by on her cuteness alone. The food is good the ambiance is cozy, and the servers that are attentive, are very personable. And that’s what helps to make a restaurant worthy of a return visit sometimes.

Its very average. Doesn’t feel Italian, kids that work there in simple t-shirts, nothing authentic in appearance. The food was a 6/10 at Best!! No Italian music, no warm bread served while waiting for dinner. Pricey for what you get.

The experience was different, considering it was a cafe however, ordering as you walk in instead of sitting at a table and looking over the menu made it feel more as a fast food joint. And fast food it was as they brought it out to you promptly, which gives the right to say it was not made fresh. The veal dish was overcooked in the sense that it was prepared, frozen, then nuked in the microwave to give it a rubbery texture. It was sent back, and they did offer to replace it with something else, but the replacement with the flavorless tortellini and dried up meatballs lacked the makeup. It was so disappointing, I didn’t even bother to send it back again. I really looked forward in trying this place but it definitely didn’t deliver that authentic Italian flavor/experience I hoped for. Will not be returning and do not recommend.

My daughter and I chose the Chicken Marsala and Pasta Arribiata dish. Both of us loved the flavors of both sauces and how tender the chicken, scallops, and shrimp were. My daughter is very picky. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I thought the prices were fair according to the portion size. I loved the ambiance as well. In all honesty, I liked it better than Olive Garden. The only complaint I had was the restaurant was a tad warm. Overall, it was a great experience and I would reccomend it to others.

It’s nice to have another choice of cuisine in Los Lunas. Good Italian food and a pleasant staff. You order and pay up front and they serve you at your table. They provide good service, checking how everything is, refilling your drinks, etc. We’ll be back.

As much as I love New Mexican food, I was excited to see that Los Lunas was finally getting a privately owned restaurant that served a different type of cuisine. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my first experience at the Moltos today. First of all, the prices are completely out of line for a self-serve restaurant… At $12 to $15 a plate, I expect to be seated by a host, order from a printed menu, and be served by a wait staff. Secondly, the quality of the dishes and the way they were prepared was also inconsistent with the prices. I ordered the Chicken Marsala and my friend ordered the Linguini Creamy Pesto… Both dishes tasted identical. Don’t get me wrong, they weren’t terrible, just very mediocre. My Chicken Marsala would have been so much better with a freshly grilled chicken breast on top of al dente pasta with the sauce poured over the top and served with a side of vegetables. Instead, chunks of precooked chicken and over-cooked pasta were mixed together with a very bland sauce. There was no variation in the tastes or textures and it made for a mushy, and very boring dish. With some minor tweaks, I think the Moltos could become a good restaurant… I just hope they find their way before its too late.

I had two previous good experiences, tonight was not one of them. The meatballs were very dry, bread hard, and Italian beef sandwich had very little meat that was dry as well on a hard roll with cold hard cheese. I had to drive from Belen back to Los Lunas to return it. The order was remade and my money refunded. I am hoping it was a one time bad night. I really like the people who work there. The three times I have been there I have felt very welcome. They are friendly, funny, and very nice.

The staff was friendly. The food was very well proportioned and tasted great. I ordered the kids menu and it was very generous. I definately would reccommend this place to eat italian craving. I would rate 5 stars if only menus were available to look at with leisure to order while being seated. Please consider letting customers be seated with menus to look over. Thanks .
