This is one of the cutest places in strawberry hill! It is such a nice vibe inside and out. They have a small patio if you are looking for patio options. The drinks are always a great, the service is A1! The food is just soso on week days but brunch is great

We came here for brunch and had wonderful service and some pretty good food. I had grilled cheese and tomato soup, which the grilled cheese was awesome but wasn’t crazy about the soup, I prefer a smoother tomato soup and this has a little grainy texture. My friend got a breakfast wrap which was really good and my other friend got the breakfast pizza which was also good but the wrap out of the three was the best.

Our bartender was awesome. Although they were out of pork and chicken, our food was incredible. The brunchwrap was sooooo good. The grilled cheese and tomato soup was perfect for a cool Sunday afternoon. The view of the Kansas City skyline from the patio has to be one of the best, if not the best, in the area. We will definitely visit again as we just moved to the neighborhood.

Great spot! Good atmosphere with a great patio are with a cool view to the city. House drinks are not impressive, but not bad if u want a traditional /basic drink.

Myself and two others stopped in here for a drink on a Saturday afternoon. There were two to three servers at any given time. They had a decent flow of people, 20-30 patrons at any time. The music, which kept in the 80s and 90s genre, was nothing but hit after hit. The same could be said about the drinks the bartenders were slinging. They have a type of drink for just about everyone, and while we didn’t try any of the food, everything we saw come out of the kitchen smelled and looked amazing. I will definitely be returning to the ML again in the near future.

Cool little spot to stop by and have a drink. Bartender was nice and the place was clean! There’s an outdoor patio with an overlook of the city as well. I’d recommend checking it out if you haven’t!

The hidden gem of Kansas City!! No other bar or restaurant has a better view of the skyline of downtown. Come for the view, the drinks, or the food because nothing will disappoint. The demure interior is perfect for a first date or spend the afternoon day drinking on the outdoor patio. No matter the reason this has to be a must do when you visit Kansas City or are looking for a new place to try. Mockingbird has it all.

Cool spot but don’t go on Sundays I guess? We’ve been here a handful of times and enjoyed ourselves consistently but our most recent visit on a Sunday was…complicated. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted by a bartender letting us know that they were out of food. Okay! We weren’t there to eat anyway so no big deal. But things began to snowball pretty quickly.
