The Mission Restaurant is 5 out of 5 for atmosphere and a 3 out of 5 for food. It is a beautifully recreation of a Mexican restaurant and Mission INSIDE an old Church. The service was excellent and out waitress was great with our 8 and 11 year-old children and very accommodating.

Our family of 12 ate at The Mission after skating in Clinton Square. With such a large group, they were able to accommodate us at three tables and we had two wait staffers. The food was ok, Jesse was pretty charming, but our other waiter was pretty rude. We tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, but the Disney Dude in the pony tail definitely soured our experience.

You’ll pay for every little add-on and there are no complimentary chips & salsa… However, everything was delicious and you can tell it was made with fresh ingredients. Overall, would definitely recommend! Extremely good. Nice Syracuse spot.

Great little place! They have a brunch menu on Sunday. Had the sweet potato chorizo hash. It was awesome! They won an award for that dish in 2018. If you need a accessible entrance, go to the left if you are standing in front of the building.

The place has really good ambience and the food tastes good. The service was slow. They took too long to get us seated, also the empty tables weren’t cleaned untill they seated the next guest.

The restaurant is just opposite Columbus circle and hard to miss. The internal decoration is very warm and will shift your mindset. The menu is quite good to select some delicacies and price wise pocket friendly. A must visit for anyone visiting Syracuse.

Just moved to the area and wanted to try this place since walking past it. How do you mess up a simple order of nachos? Most of the chips were beyond burned and not edible. Had to toss the entire order in the trash once I got home and saw what they cooked for me. Will not be returning to this place.

I went there at 2:00 for lunch so it wasn’t busy at all, I was seated right away, placed my order right away and the food came out fast. The chips were very good. The salsa was diced tomatoes with cilantro. It was not very good. Some peppers, onion/garlic and seasonings could have spiced it up. I ordered the enchiladas with shredded beef, black beans and rice. Again, seasoning on beans and rice would have helped the flavor. The texture of the rice was very good. The beef was very hard to cut and it was a little on the dry side. It did not taste like a “Tex/mex” seasoning again. It was more like just shredded beef in an enchilada. Also the food came out luke warm. I will not be going back… too many other good Mexican restaurants.
