The Pizza Chef, I think her name is Jes, is a fast chef. Ticket times are usually under 10 minutes depending on the crowd and how many pizzas are in the wood fired oven. I have had pizzas and the ham & cheese sandwich. Both are AMAZING… The only thing I would recommend doing different there is to shred the cabbage much thinner & have a creamy dressing for the slaw. I couldn’t eat it the way it’s made with thick cabbage and a clear dressing put on it just before service. I like a good slaw… I couldn’t eat that. Sorry. Otherwise ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Don’t order the menu items with fish in them, e.g. Fisherman’s Stew or Mac & Cheese with fish. There is SO very little fish in them. Literally, I got the bowl of stew and there was one reasonable size chunk and one tiny one. Three of us had the same experience so it was not random. If you are offered the breakfast sandwich later in the day, it was probably prepared in the morning and reheated. Ours were. Pizza was OK.

We stumbled upon this amazing space after visiting Crooked Face Creamery and it was impressive. The shop inside was well curated with local wares and dry goods. Next door stands a gorgeous copper clad wood fired pizza oven and open concept dining area that leads right out to a street side patio. The food menu also expertly curated with a great variety of options. Good local beer selection and a fine array of cocktails. Now…. the pizza dough was probably the best I have ever, ever, ever had. And we make bread and dough all the time. It was incredible. Everything was top tier, great service, stellar vibes and phenomenal food.

Food was excellent. Drinks were a bit over priced. Layout was very confusing. We stood in line at the counter for several minutes only to be told to seat ourselves after. Very kind but inexperienced waitstaff led to delays in ordering and paying even though it was not busy at all. Decor was nice and menu options were enticing.

We got their about 11:10 a.m. 30 minutes later we go to menu another 30 minutes they took our order didn’t get out of there until 1 wasn’t that busy at least I didn’t think so. The person I was with one of the coffee that never showed so we cancelled it. I had a breakfast pizza ordered it with no veggies it came with veggies I just took them off the ones I didn’t like pizza was okay in the middle but the crust was very burnt. I say it got a little close to the fire. But underneath was fine middle of the pizza tasted really good. They did not charge me for the pizza so I did leave the tip I think $8 just because I felt sorry for the waitress she was very nice. I was going to sit outside on their patio but I guess it was dog owner day… LOL. By the time I left and they were five dogs on the patio. I’m allergic to dogs and cat so I had to move inside. I was 10 minutes away from walking out but the pizza showed up. We were motorcycle riding do not want to spend the hours at a restaurant wanted to ride. What are the big turn-offs was the waitresses were patting the dogs getting in very close I didn’t see them washing their hands. Next time I go to the Mill Pub.

Fun and tasty dining experience. The most contemporary establishment in Skowhegan. Prices are a little higher than other local restaurants, but everything I tasted was delicious. The staff was friendly, the seating comfortable, and the decor pleasant. I am excited to return next weekend and try them for lunch.
