Quaint little place, I had the southwestern steak hash for breakfast (at least it was served hot) tons of potato’s and 2 fried eggs over meat. Wife had the breakfast panini, plain toast with grill marks (wife said she would not order again). Going to give this place a shot for lunch. Rachel the server was awesome!

Great little lunch spot. Not fancy, just lunch. Travis was our server. Good dude and he took care of us. Lemon Pepper Tilapia was very good and grilled to perfection. Mac n Cheese was flavorful and creamy. I love their fresh baked rolls. I’d go there again to try the Turkey sandwich. It was pretty tasty.

Oh man you guys!! You HAVE to try the Chicken fried steak! So far my favorite when I come down to San Angelo. The service was good. They were a little busy between two waitresses. But they made it work. The cooks, man. My compliments to the chefs! Great job.

Small, limited menu but good-tasting food. Not many traditional breakfast plates, but you can order a plate of eggs, bacon, toast, etc. a la carte. Sadly, no decaf coffee. Would like to come back and try their dinner menu, which is much larger and looks delicious.

Mesquite Bean Cafe serves breakfast and lunch, mostly simple fares but extremely delicious. I have gone to lunch here multiple times, and they never disappoint… my favorite is the jalapeño chicken soup which they serve on Tuesday.

I went with my parents, both of whom enjoyed their meal and coffee. I ordered a breakfast taco, and it looked more like a quesadilla, which is fine, I suppose, but the egg in the tortilla was overcooked, and overall, the taco didn’t have a good flavor. They have decent coffee, toast, sausage, and eggs over easy.

The entrance is bit of a maze into small dining room that has a nice of downtown. The waitstaff is personable and will learn your name your order if you eat here regularly. The is excellent. The however is that sometimes they out of ingredients like sugar… and have go to store… so don’t be in a hurry and bring along someone you need to do business with or you really enjoy visiting with because this is not a fast food place.
