Quietly tucked back from the street, dampening the sounds of town, is this lovely place. You walk past the clover and Easter Island head statue in the fountain and climb the stone steps to the wood porch. It makes you think of a tavern, comfortable lighting, with a modern touch, TVs on the walls playing concerts. Craig is friendly and makes mouth watering drinks. My husband had the Peach Whiskey Sour which was delicious and smooth. I had a sweet Piña Colada that was pure summer and then the Lemonade with Créme de Violette which was my favorite. We ordered the steak tacos which came with a fantastic sauce and chips with fresh salsa. A lovely way to spend the evening.

Shrimp tacos were great, but they are more like bar-sized portions. You get 2 with about 5 shrimp each, onions, cilantro, and salsa. Steak tacos are the same way. Pasta seems to all be made with spaghetti noodles. The sauce is good, and we were told it’s made in-house. The people are great and checked on us often. We met the cook and the owner. Our waiter was super friendly and professional.

Great bar!! Great music!! Great drinks!! All together a great place, just wish they had more pool tables or at least a good pool table. The only table there was off balance, had burn holes, and moved easily if you accidentally bumped into it. Owner of bar was GREAT!!! Get a better table! My kid wants to shoot pool.

The Paper Mill Lounge is such an awesome place. We were there for a 40th birthday party, so the experience may be different than most. The food that was served was spectacular! The music was great, and the drinks were incredible. If you go there, be sure to order one of the many great drinks on the menu. Or, just order a gin gimlet. You’re welcome.
