This place used to be so much better. The staff is still fantastic, but changes definitely need to be made. The menu has been more or less the same for years now. The inside is pretty nice and well kept, but the patio is in need of an overhaul. The food has gone downhill as well. The menu is pretty extensive, but I have been consistently disappointed with my food every time that I have come here over the past couple of years. This place has so much potential and has been great before. I hope that it can be great again!

This bar/restaurant has a warm wooden interior with an atmosphere to match. The menu is as expected for the establishment, but the quality of the ingredients and their preparation elevates them. Service is earnest and kind (if a tad uneven), but in no way detracts from the overall experience. The beverages are nice and cold if that’s a criteria.

Worst service that I have received at a restaurant. Server had a premeditated attitude.With only two other tables filled with customers it’s hard to have slow service you would think. When asked simple questions, was told to just open my eyes and read the menu. Simple water and drinks came after apps and entrees served and having to ask a few times. It’s sad that horrific service brings this place down cause the food is not bad. I live walking distance away and will not return.

Found this place by accident and decided to have lunch. Great menu from bar snacks to full meals. Food was great and hit the spot. Very comfortable outdoor seating in addition to a friendly pub interior. Great staff and very informative. Will return here next time we pass through Aurora.

This place used to be much better. You can tell they’re in cost-cutting mode. They had one server on a Saturday night. There was a hammered group at the bar acting like children. Even ketchup was hard to find. Ours was empty so we tried bottles from three empty tables around us and they were all empty. My burger could only be described as bland and stale. It’s sad, really. I used to like this place. Hopefully things turn around.

The atmosphere was nice, but the temperature inside was a little bit cold. Our waitress was attentive. But I was really disappointed by the size of their portions. We chose to do the upcharge of the soup and loaded tater tots, and they were downright tiny! I’m not expecting a trough of soup, but it was small. And the “loaded” tater tots barely had a sprinkle of cheese and onions. For that price?

A family owned tap room environment. Service was friendly and food was good. A good local beer selection on tap and in bottles. Sort of upscale bar food. Chicken wings are pretty good l, spicy in a homemade sauce. A nice change from the run-of-the-mill sauce you get everywhere these days. I’d come back to try some other menu items.
