We love The Mantel restaurant. The service is always excellent – really friendly and knowledgeable. We were there for a special Valentine’s dinner. We had the Lobster bisque, followed by a ribeye steak with grilled potatoes and asparagus. Finished off with chocolate fondue for two. A delicious dinner and amazing service. Thank you to the staff of the Mantle!

Been to the Mantle many times. Usually ok. I ordered the Ribeye from their new menu. The steak they brought out was not a ribeye. I know my cuts of meat. It was very lean and tough. More like a sirloin. The chef came to the table and was very rude and argumentative about it. And then stomped off.. So unprofessional..

Update: this place is a member only establishment that does not care about the members that kept them in business through COVID. They have almost tripled the cost of a yearly membership, now $400 without making any improvements in their service, in fact the service has been going downhill for the last few years now, but we still go there only for convenience until our membership runs out. The chances of getting a reservation has significantly decreased, even though every time you go in there is plenty of seating. The good is still pretty good, not excellent.

So apparently we found out the next day that this is a members only restaurant. Maybe that is why the place was almost empty on a busy Friday night. We got right in and were never asked about being members. Waiter was nice but service was SLOWWWW! Got drinks after we were almost done with our appetizers. The shrimp looked and tasted like it was frozen from a bag of Gordon Fisherman!
