Have to say my last visit took me from a 5 star review down to a two for a normally good restaurant. My patty melt was “crunchy,” like scrapings from previously cooked food, or something was on it. I threw it away, I just couldn’t eat it. They used to have the best patty melt anywhere, and I ordered it because I actually “craved” it. So to throw away my food it had to be bad.

Can’t say enough good things about the food here!! The soups, burgers, wraps, the cowboy corn nuggets with siarcha aoli sauce. I would go so far as to say best food around. The staff is amazing, starting with owner Ryan, the cooks, the bartenders, Amanda, and Katie are my favorites, no offense to the others. Keep it up all of you!

Just went to John’s Main Event for the first time. Perfection! Best Patty Melt I’ve ever had…(requested American Cheese instead of swiss.) Not only that, they made scrambled eggs as a special request for our handicapped daughter. Everything was delicious…even the ice tea!! Absolutely SUPERB customer service! Wow! Will definitely come back. My new favorite Burlington Restaurant.
