Ordered online and decided to eat in to enjoy a beer. Really nice people doing a great job but I was handed a burrito that was cold on one side. I’m guessing it likely was not made fresh. The on-site menu is excellent, with many more choices. Chips are not great but the service and beer are!

Unfortunately, I grew up in Los Angeles and know what real Mexican food tastes like. This is a very sad excuse. Granted, we live in a very white region of the country, but whatever. I’ve tried several locations, but got more and more underwhelmed each time. Waitsfield is the best of them.

I went on day 5 of being opened, so keep that in mind. This location just does not have that something special the other locations have yet. It smells like popcorn, the minute you walk in the door, and the decor is all off; it just feels awkward. As for the food, it was was good, but not great. I think the chefs are still trying to get their feet underneath them. I will definitely be back, as I was very excited to hear of this opening. After a few weeks, they should get their groove back, and I’ll update my review accordingly.

Went here and had a terrible experience. Started out fun. Kids loved playing shuffleboard and staff was nice enough. When food came the burrito was VERY cold and we politely complained. They offered to heat it up and it again came back cold. When the waitress came to ask how our food was we replied “not great the burrito is still cold” to which the waitress began making excuses for why a burrito including the meat would be cold even after we asked for it to be heated. When we stated that we were just giving feedback and that the food wasn’t enjoyable and we probably wouldnt be back the waitress stated that it was “Just our opinion and that was a dumb comment to make”. We then stated that as a restaurant they should be focused on pleasing their customers and the waitress laughed at us and replied “we don’t PLEASE our customers!” And acted like that was the stupidest thing she ever heard. Do not visit if you wish to be pleased.

This is supposed to be a Mexican restaurant, but the food isn’t real-authentic Mexican food. The employees there are not even latinos from what it seems. When I asked if their torta has spice they asked me “what do you mean spice?” … Mexican food has spice on everything, even fruit has spice. They even have the audacity to play latino music with no real Spanish food or Spanish employees. It was offensive.

This was my first time trying a Mad Taco. The chips were served in a bag and were not the most fresh, the Carnitas on my taco was very dry. The fish taco was great. Too pricey, I won’t go back

Chips were way too salty. Tacos were not very tasty. They needed salt and some sort of sauce. Hot sauces weren’t very good and even the spiciest one wasn’t very spicy. Overall kinda pricey. The outdoor seating was nice though!

Great, fresh food – I had the fajitas when I had dinner here and it was delicious – I love that the food is all made local and in house. The salsa was delicious. The margarita was pretty dang delish as well!

Great food, flavorful and artfully made. Service and atmosphere inconsistent.

Disappointing, not very clean, dirty tables, chairs on the tables while the restaurant was not busy at all and employees were slacking around. The tacos were just okay, barely warm enough, the sides were not very good. We won’t go back. The location itself is in a rundown shopping center, it looks a little postapocalyptic out there.
