Had my bridal tea here and it was great. I’ve always passed this place but never went in before. It looks cool from the outside and the decor is really nice inside as well. Enjoyed the lavender lemonade special and the individual tea service food pyramids. Would come back again.

Such a lovely time! The food, atmosphere and service were beyond my expectations. We have been to other tea rooms and this is now our favorite! The menu listed all our favorites and also had some additional items that I have not seen at other tea rooms. We were encouraged to wear the hats and live in the moment which was absolutely the afternoon vibe we were hoping for! We will be back soon!

Everything was wonderful. All the sandwiches were delicious. I recommend the roast beef with horseradish. The scones were warm and didn’t taste like flour. The atmosphere was fun and I felt like I was at a British tea room. The staff was very nice and fast with their service.

A friend took me here for lunch for my birthday. The waitress recommended the soup of theft for a starter and OMG! It was a ricotta soup with pastina, creamy and delicious like nothing I have ever tasted. The lunch was perfect. Delicious spinach quiche with flakey crust & side salad. Adorable pots of tea. And for dessert the best scone fresh and hot with clotted cream. I cant wait to go back! And the chef owner came out to say Hi. Thank you !!!

I wish I could make this review even higher than the highest score for Delia and her staff who made a tender moment so special. It was the anniversary of a friend’s death and Delia – the owner of The Mad Batter – took the time to hear more about the story and decorated our table with beautiful details that truly did celebrate my friend’s life. We were given the royal treatment and I’m so glad Delia opened this tea room as a beautiful gathering place for all the special occasions. She went father than above and beyond. You can tell all she wants to do is make her customers happy. And she accomplished that with me and my big family. I can’t wait to go back and keep supporting this wonderful, heart centered business.

Had a lovely bridal tea party for 11 ladies at The Mad Batter. Great atmosphere, excellent service, fun double tier of little sandwiches & baked goodies for each guest! Cocktails, mocktails, & an assortment of lovely hot teas for all. Would definitely recommend!
