Hidden gem in Oxford for bagels (Sunday only) but be prepared to WAIT. Line can take over half an hour but worth the wait. Also, check out the working jukebox on the wall and play a couple of songs while you wait.

I really wanted to like this place 🙁 I’ve been here three separate times really wanting to get a bagel, and every time I’ve waited almost an hour and then eventually left because I never got my order taken. I get it’s probably one guy back there doing all of it and everyone’s order is different, but yeah I just gotta warn others who don’t have this much time on their hands.

Y’all. If you haven’t been here, well you better go and not miss out!! Dennis ‘The Menace’ is in there cooking up some seriously tasty food for everyone. I’ve gone to The Luv Shak multiple times now and I haven’t found anything as awesome as this place yet. Tortellini, meatball subs, chicken parm, pepperoni rolls & bagels, and so much more. Its been sooooo good! The juices and chocolate milk he serves are also outstanding! & The interior of this place is the absolute coolest thing ever. & It’s only going to get better from what he’s told us!!!! Myself and two others have been going consistently since we moved to MS this last month, and we plan on continuing that streak for who knows how long!

One of Oxford’s “best kept secrets” in my opinion. They serve one dish each weekday night and it is cooked to perfection. They also serve homemade bagels on Sunday, so get there early if you want to snatch one because they go quick! That’s how good they are!

Such an experience! The food is great for sure but the atmosphere really makes it. It’s very vibey, good music, pinball machine etc. I forgot to ask his name but the owner has such a kind soul too.

My wife and I had been wanting to try The Luv Shak for a while now. Seeing the new dishes every day on their Instagram is very tempting. We had baked ravioli and it was divine! We will definitely eat here again. Definitely one of Oxfords hidden gems.

Coming from a lifelong New York City dweller (with 15 years in NJ), these are great bagels! Cream cheese is excellent too. Real treat Won’t be disappointed.

The pork roll bagel is the best thing I’ve ever had and my only complaint is that they’re not open 24/7 for bagels! The Italian dinners are also wonderful! LOVE the food and character of this place.
