First time eating at loveless on a Tuesday afternoon. It wasn’t busy at all and we got right in and the service was super fast. My wife and I enjoyed it very much. The food was delicious, everything was clean and tidy, all the staff was very polite and courteous. Did I mention the food was delicious, . We both got the super sampler so we could try more. The meatloaf, smoked turkey, fried catfish and smoked pork chop were above average. We enjoyed them the most. Not to take away from the ham or chicken breast because they were good for sure. They were slightly above average. The sides were good as well Carmel sweet potato, hash brown casserole and green beans. The biscuits and jam were delicious as well. Thank y’all

Drove into Nashville and headed directly here for a late lunch. We have seen this place several times on tv and YouTube shows so why not stop in.

Unpopular opinion: for all of the hype surrounding this place, it was average.

I’m so glad I came back to try lunch! I had the chicken tenders, and they were very hot. My mom had the country fried steak, and she ate every bite which is unusual for her, so you know it’s good! My dad got half a chicken, and he enjoyed it. The biscuits are ok. We went on St. Patrick’s Day so some of the biscuits were green! It was around an hour and twenty minute wait to get our table. I highly recommend to come if you are ever in the area. It is good food!

Delicious food, friendly staff and wonderful southern hospitality. We both had scrambled eggs with country ham and hash brown casserole. The ham was super salty to me, but apparently that’s what country ham is. The blueberry pie for dessert was delicious. Great place!

A great breakfast joint. I could list each dish we had and it’s qualities but the basics are this: they make everything right. From the biscuits, which I think were cast iron baked, to the chicken fried steak, to the red eye gravy…everything would rank in my top five list when compared to other restaurants.

So while in nashville.. we felt a little out of plac. But it was a very live city. Especially down town. But we needed to eat after exploring. So we decided to try loveless Cafe. They had pretty good reviews so we took a chance. When we got here it was a nice area. The restaurant wasn’t too big in the inside. And they had plenty or photos of famous people who ate st their establishment. So that was a good sign. The waiter was really nice which always makes a good experience.. he started us off wirh the famous home made biscuits. And they were delicious. I am not a big biscuit person. But I love bread..they gave us a few options to out on the biscuits as well…..i.e…butter peach jelly.. strawberry jam.. and honey. All were good and I am not a big fan of strawberry biscuits. I decides to get a platter which gave me options of 3 different kinds of meat. The skin on chicken was good. But the chicken it self was refular.. nothing special to me. The catfish and flavored porkchop.. it was different but I enjoyed it. The Mac n cheese was a shocked. It did not look at chessy as it was. But was very good. Overall we enjoyed it. It is a bit of a drive from down gown if you prefer that area. So keep that in mind.

The best southern restaurant I’ve eaten at! The chicken fried steak and hashbrown casserole are both amazing, and the service and hospitality here is awesome, our server was constantly checking on us and refilling our sweet teas! I will definitely be back.

Here’s what you need to know: YES! It’s that good. There are versions of things that are the best I’ve ever had, but surprisingly the biscuits aren’t that good. Maybe there so mass produced now that they’ve lost their finesses but the rest of the food is SPECTACULAR. Great ambiance as an old colonial style house turned into a country restaurant. Great service from everyone we interacted within. Amazing pricing. So much value
