Heard they added baked fish to their Friday special so I gave it a try and it was really tasty. I opted out of the fries and had a side salad with it instead. Just reopened under new management, same bad food. Thought we would try them out. Limited menu as they were just starting up. Burgers, pizza and appetizers only tonight. A good restaurant is judged by its hamburger so we went that route. My burger was ice cold, no way was it grilled fresh, the cheese on top would not melt. The burger was preformed and frozen and reheated in a microwave. The bun was cold as well, and hard like it had been frozen. what does it take to butter and lightly toast a bun on the grille? The French fries tasted like fish. We gave them the honest feedback which they appreciated along with the excuse that their cook was not working tonight. I used to come here when it was a bowling alley, so many years. it is really sad to be served food like this. Go to Lakeside and have a meal, that should be your benchmark.

This was our 1st time to Buffalo Lake Lodge and we were definitely not disappointed! Prime rib was delicious, salad bar was fresh and the homemade chili was very good. We will definitely be back!

Unique place with an awesome view overlooking the lake. Good food (the corn fitters ) good service and allover good experience. The people were welcoming and the local, Wally, was a hoot. One random stop that I’ll make again.
