Chalea is an amazing waitress with excellent customer service skills. Currently, there are 5 people at the bar, 6 tables in the lobby (my table included) and she hasn’t missed a beat. Everyone looks happy and content.

Very limited selection of restaurants on this side of the terminal makes this restaurant more appealing than it is. I requested a Black and Blue burger and what I got was not what I asked for. The Black and Blue burger tastes good.

I am very pleasantly surprised with my experience at The Local! With it being the only option in my terminal, my expectations were quite low. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and it tasted extremely fresh and enjoyable. The portion was also quite big making it reasonable at $13.

I visited The Local at the end of High Point Furniture market while waiting for my flight. There were tons of people waiting for a table and it was extremely busy. The entire staff was clearly being tested and working hard. I have to say that I can’t fault this experience. The food was great, the service was great, and everyone was happy – including the customers. Well done under stress. Highly recommended!

One doesn’t always get good food in a restaurant in an airport, but we ordered breakfast and it was really good. The server was prompt and very friendly.
