Huge lounge/lodge like feel with super tall ceilings. There was live music and plenty of space between tables which made it very relaxing. The food and wine options were contemporary American, with the beef tartar and brisket nachos as two of the highlights. Really enjoyed the big tables for our party of 8.

Before dining here, you should ask yourself… what is your living room like?

Got dinner and drinks. Mixology is off the charts – compliments to the bartender. Drinks are subtle, strong, perfectly balanced. I’m blown away. Food was very fresh and tasty – overpriced because it’s a hotel, but really nice ambience to be able to grab a sofa/table and get food and drinks at your own pace.

Just to be clear, we weren’t staying here but there’s a nice gondola ride up there from where we were staying.

A great disappointment. Despite being entirely empty except for one other person, and a couple folks at the bar, my burger took 27 minutes to come.

Place blows. We tried to have a meal there, only to be told that is for guests only. Even though is was mostly empty. Then we were told to go by the bar; but we were kicked out because we had a toddler. Then invited to a $100/person buffet. Then kicked out in the cold, where the heaters were not working. Which we had to take at that point because everyone was hungry.

This hotel used to be really dog friendly, but least week we visited with our 4 lb toy poodle and received very different directions from staff members about which parts of the hotel after dog friendly. When we stayed in January the Living Room was entirely dog friendly, but now it seems like only 3 of the worst tables allow dogs. This is perplexing because the Living Room does not have a kitchen area. The food itself is ok, but not worth the price especially when the rules on dining with four legged friends seem so arbitrary.
