The Koop offers an inviting dining experience that combines a pleasant atmosphere with great food. What truly stands out is the fresh, home-cooked quality of the dishes. The spicy options may not be as hot as some might expect, but they’re still really tasty. The overall dining experience is enhanced by the warm ambiance, making it a great choice for those seeking a delightful, fresh meal in a cozy setting.

This place is tried and true. The food is delicious and service was good. Authenticity is the key here; true taste of Korea with just the right amount of spices. All items that I have ever eaten here has been right on the money with presentation, texture, taste, and amount.

Great food! I’ve eaten at a couple different Korean restaurants but the food here had more flavor.

Koop was my favorite fried chicken in town. Honestly the chicken is nothing beyond being decent, but you don’t really have many choices of bone-in fried chicken in State College, so would recommend.

I ordered two of their Korean corn dogs which were super fresh, tasty, and inexpensive for how big they are. The cashier also gave me a free small kimchi after I asked to buy one. Customer service was great and so was the food. This is my new favorite spot for Korean food.

I stopped by at 11:30am to order fried chicken, Japchae (both with meat and without) , and Kimbap (vegetarian) for 30 people for our Friday dinner on-campus for International Connections group. I returned at 5:30pm and it was all ready and they even gave us some rice and radishes for free! The food was wonderful and everyone loved it – it was really good! We could not be happier with both the service and the quality of the food.

A nice family-owned Korean Fried Chicken restaurant in State College. The chicken was nice, although I wish it had more sauce. The staff will give you more sauce if you ask for it. Speaking of sauce, it was absolutely awesome! The restaurant’s atmosphere is cozy, making it an ideal spot for a casual dinner with family or friends. Additionally, the staff is quite friendly.

The food is a little testless, however I think the chicken is good, I ordered the garlic honey flavor, I like it, and the dessert is great too, but testless.
