Everything was simply amazing. We did not have a reservation upon arriving and was told by the manager(she appeared to be the manager) the only seating available was an outside table. I respectfully decline and my family and I left the restaurant. As we were getting in the car the same lady ran out and said there was a high top available and we took that seating. So just that experience along was worth 5 stars for customer service. However, the 5 star customer service did not stop there the entire staff was very courteous and attentive. The food was tasteful and the flavors paired well. You can tell the chef took time to ensure the flavors work well to balance out the dish. The freshness and quality of the dishes were impeccable. A lot of restaurants charge high prices but serve bland food. You will not find bland food at The Kennedy. We ordered the Octopus, Duck breast, Salmon, Leaf lettuce and French fries. We also had the “Burnt” chocolate dessert. Let’s just say we ate every bite of our food. I read a few reviews and saw that The Kennedy wasn’t kid-friendly but my 9 year old was perfectly fine. My family and I eat out a lot and we’re always looking for the best restaurant with savory food and savvy aesthetics. The Kennedy is definitely a place to visit if you want to experience both.

Overall I really enjoyed this place. Cozy smaller modern type atmosphere. Service was good food was overall good. We orderedg oysters which were great, broccolini which was really tasty and cooked perfect and their market fish. It was a bit salty and small portion for the price but otherwise good. Caesar salad was yummy and fresh! The tables were a little too close for privacy and it was loud acoustically.

The atmosphere was amazing here, we got the Bruschetta for an appetizer& chicken parm, smash burger and the Chefs catch of the day & it was so delicious, all the hosts and servers were amazing and helpful, the General Manager was even on the floor helping them out & that’s very unlikely to see now days!

Food was excellent especially the crème brûlée. Service was fine but only issue was with the water. Tasted of mold. 3.5/5

We went here for our anniversary dinner. The food, drinks, and service were spectacular. Jay was our server, and he did a remarkable job. I have a soy allergy, which can be difficult to navigate, but he knew exactly what I could and could not eat. My husband absolutely adored the grilled octopus. The crème brûlée is marked as “MKT” on the menu, but it’s due to seasonal variations. Right now, they have a sweet potato version, and it was divine.

Really cool and comfortable little spot, high end options but felt casual and friendly. Great service from Jeri, and Eddie was the best chef ever. Was in from out of town for a work function, will definitely have to come back next time I’m around

Everything was amazing. I ordered the steak and frites and my girl ordered the salmon. Salmon just melted in your mouth, steak did about the same. The sauces were amazing. Ordered a lemon bar for dessert! Not too sweet and perfectly tart. Our server was very professional forgot our servers name but she was excellent. Will be back time and time again!

I’ve been to the Kennedy a few times and really enjoyed it! However, this past visit for brunch left a lot to be desired.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at The Kennedy!! Geri, our waitress, was attentive, very friendly, and remembered our wine order from our previous visit! She was the best. The highlights were the bruschetta, the pork belly Benedict special, the mussels, and if you don’t do anything else in this life, PLEASE try the burnt chocolate spoon bread. It is out of this world good — honestly one of the very best things I’ve tasted in my life. The whipped cookie butter is insane. Eating outside in March was also fantastic for this New Englander. French press coffee was also a highlight. A hidden gem in Spartanburg!
