Way back in the 14th century, the Moghuls invaded Hindukush, the land of milk, honey and other rich treasures. In return, they left behind a trail of destruction, and well, the kebab.The open fire was too unpredictable, so the even, dry heat of the tandoor took its place.

The kebab factory is located along Washington street somerville and it boast some of the best Indian cuisine in the area . I enjoyed my time here and food was tasty . I recommend the chicken biryani,Alo gobi and the butter chicken. There is no parking lot on this restautant but there are metered parking just across from the restaurant.

I ordered take out from this place. And the chicken was extremely tasteless and almost stale. Their chicken chilli malai kebab just tasted like they just roasted a chicken breast marinated in curd. That’s it ! No flavor! Nothing . And the place is called Kebab factory. I’m sorry but I wouldn’t recommend this place.

I tried their buffet on a Saturday afternoon. The food was very bland but the price is very very reasonable. Also the buffet didn’t have biryani. If you are looking for spicy Indian food then I would recommend exploring more restaurants.

awesome staff. personally, I think the food is off the charts. Garlic naan alone is worth a visit. my friend highly recommends the lamb kebabs. visiting with a friend with a brain tumor and they were incredibly accommodating. when he had trouble with things we take for granted, like cutting the meat, they took it back into the kitchen it sliced it all up for him. A-1 eats. unpretentious, the food speaks for itself

I ordered a takeout from here by mistake – I was ordering from biryani factory and ended up ordering from here. They don’t serve biryani – its more a pulao. Their biryani has green peans in it – such a turn off. I just blew off $100 🙁

Super cozy, delicious food, friendly chef. Got the chicken Tikka masala, the meat was so tender and juicy I think I could have gotten away with not having any teeth. The sauce was creamy, but light, and of course full of Indian herbal flavor. The rice was right on point. I wish a place like this was near where I lived, I think I’d quickly become a regular 🙂

Extremely bad experience. I ordered chicken biryani through uber eats and received some veg rice which had so much mushrooms, bell peppers and peas. I was expecting something which had a lot of flavour and only chicken as it is supposed to be but was extremely disappointed.
