Very interesting restaurant and a much needed break from the fast food model in the US. Dishes were really varied and all pf them good. Service is super quick and efficient, really enjoyed the drink refills and quality of services. Some dishes were a bit too big, be careful if you’re a small eater.

Customer service made the entire experience. Trey is an awesome bartender and human being. Great suggestions, insight, and conversation. 10 out of 10. The food was also really good. I got the happy hour loaded fries and the caribbean rice. My rice coulda used some salt but the bacon on the fries was perfection and they were surprisingly not soggy and very tasty. I also tried the strawberry fields drink which was very good as to be expected. However, the star was the watermelon margarita Trey recommended. I would’ve never ordered it on my own and I’m so happy I tried it. Everything had a kick to it and I will definitely be coming again. Nice aesthetic, tasty food, attentive staff. 5 Stars!

Went to nearest food according to Google, lunch decisions made easy, and they popped up. Walked in got a table, I knew what I wanted, so ordered in an efficient amount of time. Recieved and ate my food and was out in less than 40 minutes. Good burger, coke mix is a little mild, some know what I mean. I had a cheese burger, a coke, and a water what you see in the picture.

We visit lake Charles several times a year, and I was excited to try out the James 710 for the first time! It was an absolutely wonderful experience! Food was superb. Great ambiance, and the service was excellent! The craft cocktails were AWESOME, and I love that they have some of my favorite local beers on tap (ghost in the machine?!). Our server Jason was awesome! Very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We asked for his recommendations, and he was totally on point for what we asked. We will definitely be back!!

What a treat! Service was awesome, the food even better. Many different and exiting combinations. I highly recommend you find this place and enjoy a very good meal. Price was somewhat expensive, but it was worth every cent. We had individual steaks and an anniversary dessert to share.

We stayed in Lake Charles for the weekend just to get out of Fort Johnson. Amazing food and location. Our waitress, Amy, was great and very attentive to our table and kids. I had the Lamb which was tender and flavorful (will definitely get this again). Our oldest son had the classic burger with bacon and an egg, he mashed it. Our 2yo who is very picky had chicken finger and fries, he LOVED the tenders, there were none left. My hubs had the enchiladas, the verdict is still out on those because he didn’t eat at the restaurant. The drinks were strong and very good (spicy cucumber margarita to be specific). Continue to keep up the great work. We will be back.

Quite impressed w/ this hidden gem. Exceptional food, a really nice bar selection of sipping whiskey, cocktails & craft beers. Cozy atmosphere. Enjoyed the happy hour that evidently few have found.

Food: The food was excellent, had a chance to try the kimchi fries which were fantastic. They brought out a side of coconut ranch on request which was the best variation of ranch I have ever tried in my life. The James burger was great, however I was expecting more of a sweet and savory combination of flavors. I would love to see some lighter pairings of sides with the entrees as the fries, while delicious, are a bit heavy, especially after the appetizers. The brussel sprouts were also great.

Open for lunch only, my first visit was on Saturday around 12:30 and the place was crowded, but we were seated immediately. I started with a Cucumber Margarita which was incredible in that it seemingly evaporated from my glass, necessitating a second.

This place has lots of parking. The entrance to the restaurant is on the north side of the building. They have a good sized patio space, but it was full due to the nice weather so we sat inside. The staff seemed to be working double-duty (understaffed). They gave us good service, although it was a bit slow. The food was amazing. The beet hummus was delicious. The swordfish was so tender and juicy. Loved the mango chili chutney that came with it as well as the coconut rice. The chocolate mousse was super dense and tasty. Some of the best food I’ve eaten in Lake Charles.
