We are now offering our famous fresh Italian Sausage, Betty Rae’s Ice Cream, Italian deli sandwiches, deli meats, cheeses, Hot Italian Sandwiches, arancini, and select Italian imported goods. We went here because Mitch Schwartz was there and we got the #71, #7 and 2 Motzaball soup. Everything was delicious and full of flavor. Even though we live 39 minutes away, we will be back. The quality and taste of the food is worth the drive.

Food is of the highest quality and huge portions. Everything I have had there is awesome. Some of the best Lasagna soup (I think it was) I have ever had. Waiting for cool weather to come back so they start the soups again!! The number 7 and the 71 are my favorites!!!

First time visit today and it didn’t disappoint! Heard great things about the service and food and it’s all true! The two ladies at the counter were very friendly and a big help. I got the #7 Spicey half loaf and I love it! This will be a regular stop for me from now on. The can of corn is for the size reference. HUGE!

Our company chose The Italian Sausage company to cater a recent event for 20. The sandwich trays, pasta salad and tiramisu were outstanding! We received many compliments and were asked by the group to provide info regarding where we ordered. There were even enough sandwiches and desert left over we sent several home with staff that had helped with the event! Absolutely the best sandwiches we’ve had in Kansas City – highly recommend!

Went to Italian Sausage Co. for the first time. So very good! The rueben was chocked full of delicious meat. The meatballs in the meatball sub were the best. The mild Italian sausage sandwich was good but if you like spice go for the hot. The cashier if that’s what you call it was so informative and friendly. They also sell different sausages, desserts and other items. They even have Peanut butter and jelly sausage which is supposed to be very good.

We ordered the #3 sandwich, the #11 sandwich, caprese salad, tiramisu and chocolate cake. Everything was excellent. The #3 was fairly spicy with a hint of sweet along with a saltiness from the meats. The #11’s mild sausage was also very tasty, the sandwich being cheesey and savory. The desserts and caprese salad were also great. Looking forward to returning!
