Went to the Ice House for the first time. Best seafood my husband and I have had in a long time from a roadside stand. We both had basket’s, my husband had scallops, which were outstanding, I had the shrimp, which were also outstanding. The French fries were also delicious. We ordered a small onion ring, which were nice and thin and fried to a wonderful crispyness. The food was all cooked well and not greasy at all. The portions were plentiful. We ended the meal with each a serving of ice cream. I had the Maine black bear, which was very good. My husband had the peach, which is one of his favorite flavors. This also was very good. If you’ve never been to the Ice House in Rye NH, give it a try. You won’t be disappointed. Prices were average for a seafood stand

I love that they have a dine in and take out area. I shared chicken fingers and fries and then had an ice cream. So very good. Loved the license plates they decorated with, as did my nephew. When I’m in the area I will come back.

I visited a lot when I was a kid. I haven’t visited in awhile but I found the ice-cream is still good. I had the Totally Turtle, vanilla ice-cream mixed with caramel, fudge chips and sliced pecans (?). It tasted good.

The service and food were absolutely amazing! Desserts were fantastic and the lobster rolls had the perfect amount of crunch and lobster. The fries were perfect crispness and we don’t have one complaint at all.
