I had the salmon, Mac n cheese, mash potatoes with a Cesar salad. The salmon was very moist, I loved the flavor! The Mac n cheese was on point! Cesar salad had a lovely vinegary taste that teased. Mash potatoes omg! My next visit I’m going ask for my salmon be blacken. Not a bad meal for $48.35. I recommend this restaurant especially for a 3rd or plus date.

My best friend planned a beautiful birthday brunch here and we absolutely loved it! The food was delicious. We had the option to dine on the patio, but ultimately decided to be seated inside. Either option is perfect, but it was a tad warm outside. The restaurant is spacious and the service was good. The bathroom was extremely clean, but rather small. There is only one sink and stall in the women’s. A great place to dine in Oklahoma City for a special occasion.

Each time I’ve been, I’ve had a good time. Solid food, good vibes, better than average beer and wine lists. I appreciate the small menu, small kitchen concept. Nevertheless, the menu is not very exciting and doesn’t seem to me to have a coherent theme. Margins are surely tight, but it’s worth mentioning that while it’s generally expensive, some items are exceptionally overpriced: e.g. $15 BLT w fries; I’d go more than once a year if I could grab one or two items for a good value.

Updated review: we gave it another try and the food was really good for everyone in our party. I had the salmon and it was very moist, I loved the flavor. The burgers were on point and their brown butter cookies were delish!! We will definitely keep coming back.

My wife and I visited this place a few years ago when it was “The Coach House,” and we didn’t like it much. It’s rebranded now as “The Hutch on Avondale,” presumably new kitchen and what-not, and it’s really changed.

The strawberry shortcake is by far the best u have ever had.. but I generally would not recommend if you are younger than 18-21; I’m not saying this for any reason other than the fact that the place has a very old fashioned feel. I’m 18, and my buddies are 20. We’re a goofy group of three, and we felt extremely out of place, surrounded by a generally older crowd. Just a kind heads up 🙂

Amazing dining experience! Can not think of a better place to celebrated our 10yr anniversary. Food is phenomenal and great wine selection. Staff was on point and appreciate the manager asking every table about their meal. Highly recommend the cornbread and the pimento cheese that comes with the roasted cauliflower. That pimento cheese is no joke! Everything tasted as if made in house, making the whole experience that much better.

The gnocci was decent but the cornbread appetizer was amazing. The Brussels sprout salad was a little too vinegar-y. I love the atmosphere and it’s an obvious routine spot for nichols hills locals.

It’s a nicer spot with a nice patio with a little fire pit, but if you’re coming here for brunch the menu is limited. I don’t know about the normal menu. The staff are all very personable and friendly. The only issue we had was one of the guys got the completely wrong meal, but we didn’t say anything, because it took a while for us to get our food, and the table right beside us who came in after us and ordered after us received their food first so there’s a couple things that could be improved on, but over all it was good, and I’ll come check it out again.

We waited way too long to try the Hutch on Avondale, and we only wished we tried it sooner. The tavern experience really felt like we were in New England, and that brings us closer to home. The cheddar biscuits and the potato soup special were wonderful starters! The lobster in the lobster Mac and cheese was off the charts and the brisket sandwich with their Yukon frites was outstanding. The garlic aioli was the perfect accoutrement! Highly recommend!!
