Wanted to love this place! We got appetizers. Nachos looked like we had leftovers from another table, even though I paid extra for chicken it was literally line a chicken nugget cup up and thrown on the chips, the Ruben rolls are frozen not fresh they came cold in the middle to the table. The wings were chewy, flavor was there but they could have been cooked more. Service was on point very good. I want to love place. I review a lot of places in town. Unfortunately this wasn’t enjoyable.

The 1st time I went here in ’17 , they were new and the barkeep was kind of full of oneself rude. Went back in ’18 and had a much better experience. Great food either way. Warm ambiance and cool wall art. This review is dated because at over a hundred restaurants a year, I kind of get backed up.

Genuinely the best wings I’ve ever had. Better than Bidwell tavern (no shade) love them to. Just crazy good food.

The Hungry Rhino. It’s a neighborhood bar. The other people here seem to be regulars. This is certainly not a reason to avoid this establishment, ut it’s probably not a destination for a “night out”.

I was just a dumb guy with a southern accent passing through Hartford on a Thursday night, but Chris went above and beyond to give me concentrated service! He had the kitchen whip me up some track fries and a bacon cheeseburger in about 5 minutes flat, no cap! I’ll be stopping here, when flying into BDL, every chance I get.

I love this place mostly because it was my home town bar back in the Stella’s day. It’s a charming spot with good food and friendly staff. It’s worth a stop.

Went with the fam, had the Dexter Bacon burger, the chicken burger, and the pulled pork sandwich. All tasted great! Fries were simple shoestring but tasted sooo good! Service was excellent, waitress was very attentive (even though she was the bartender as well and there were people at the bar) and polite!!! Feels like a local-everybody knows your name type of bar, and even if it was our 1st time there we were treated like we were regulars.

Great little hometown hangout spot! The food was good; the pulled pork was a little underwhelming but the sweet potato fries were excellent and the special flatbread was also very good. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. The tap list was not expansive but it had a good variety of well-known beers. Overall you felt like you were at a local hangout spot and it was a good time!

This bloody mary was off the chart! I opted for the works and basically got a sample of the appetizers on the menu. From fried pickles, to shrimp, to bacon, to chicken tenders, and the list goes on and on! It was all delish! I highly recommend! it’s a meal for sure and you cant beat the price as well
