The Hotdog Shack is aptly named, but in addition to the superb hot dogs, they also feature tasty cheeseburgers. The young staff is capable and friendly; however, my recent visits have been disappointing. My most recent take out order, for example, featured two (warm) hot dogs with ridiculously soggy buns, and french fries that were cold and hard. I tossed the entire order into the trash can!

Old school set up with great food!! Live that you can get a glass bottle drink with your meal. It pairs perfectly with a hot dog and fries. Great price for the food as well!!

Fun, little place to visit. Cheerwine slushies brought us here. You must have one of those if you go. Loved that you get choice of dessert (snack cakes) with your combos. Prices very reasonable. Hot Dog just wasn’t that great, fries were good, and service was great! Nice outdoor seats, small option inside.

Very slow service to get cold food. Didn’t complain because we didn’t want to wait any longer in the food. The workers were on their phones many times while multiple orders had already been out in. Place is cool for nostalgia but that’s about it. For the distance we drove would have been better to go to sonic.

After years of driving by, we finally stopped today. Very eclectic little restaurant! Hot dogs, hand pattied burgers, fries or grilled chicken sandwiches, etc. Lots of sides to choose from along with drinks. You can order single items or they have combos. I had a chili dog. Chili is made daily and was awesome. Husband had a fish sandwich. It was alright; nothing wrong with it, just not a hearty piece of fish. Everything comes out piping hot! Will definitely stop again!

Stopped in after a day of riding. Got a couple hotdogs with fries. Very good dogs and the chili and slaw was tasty. They had lots of toppings. Also lots of Cheerwine (in glass bottles!) and Moon Pies!

This is a small mom and pop hole in the wall place. Prices are reasonable. It’s services old fashioned style with glass cheerwine bottles. My old complaint is they only offer moonpies for dessert. It would be nice to make some fresh that day and mix it up.

The food is good, but the cruel & disrespectful owner cured me from ever going back. I tried explaining that my cell signal prevented me from completing the order & called customer service for help but they told me to to scrap it as they had already reassigned the order. I called the restaurant to explain the situation, then went back there to pay for the order myself, even though the delivery customer service assured me they would be paid for each order. This is the one & only time anything like this has ever happened to me, because customer service has always been a top priority.

Food is good and always right during the day. Afternoons not so much the high-school kids that run it at night could careless how long you wait or what your food looks like. Order 3 burgers and 2 fried pickles. Got home fried pickles were burnt and so were hamburger patties. I will no longer go unless it’s early when owner is still making food.
