The “Brew Rat”
This is a pretty good place to eat. Portions are large and at a very good cost. The King Burger is cooked well and juices when bit into. The bottom bun will be wet after a few bites. Ask for extra napkins if you order it. My wife’s biscuits and grave were good. She loved the biscuits but said the gravy could use a little more pepper. That’s just her preference. French fries are thicker cut and cooked well. Ice tea could be stronger, but that’s just my preference. Good place to fill you up at a great value.

First time here. Food was very good. Had all you could eat fish, green beans, and cottage cheese. Wife also. Inlaws had the chicken and tenderloin sandwich with sides. All enjoyed their meals. Service was good. Our waitress was busy but still handled things. The only thing was a little warm inside. Other than that, I “(we)”will be back.

Took forever before waitress arrived. She brought salad drinks and main meal all at same time. Made her a soup and she ate at a table while our food sat on a warming table

Had a great dinner! Food was perfect our waitress Paula I believe was great! Very reasonable prices for good food. My favorite is the corn hash skillet with a small stack of pancakes instead of toast. There lemonade is great as well

The food was great the atmosphere’s sub par the lighting is terrible. Per the owner’s request, the light bulbs were too bright white and at our 2-top shined directly in my eyes. A softer white bulb would be better. As for the rest of the atmosphere, someone was vacuuming the entrance while we were eating, which was very uncomfortable for holding conversation and made it feel like you were rushing us out of there even though it was only 7:30pm. Also, the waitress visited us a few times but was very rushed each time, which again didn’t make us feel welcome. Again though, the food and the salad bar were excellent.

I had the special Beef and Noodles, mashed potatoes and green beans for my side. The noodles were very bland. Actually, the whole meal made me feel like I was eating hospital food. I’ve eaten here several times before, I my opinion, the breakfast is by far the best meal they serve. I’ve also had the chicken salad, not my favorite. Not sure what has happened, but the taste of the food has gone downhill.

YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING !!!!!! WHOA !! This is a restaurant that we really liked to go to UNTIL tonight. When we arrived there was 4-5 tables of people. They took our drink orders and brought them right out. Came back and took our order at 4:40. 3 orders of all you can eat fish. 50 minutes later, got our food. 2 order sides were not right and each one only had only 2 pieces of fish. We told our waitress to go ahead and bring another basket of fish. 50 minutes later and still no more fish. This is more than ridiculous !!!! There were 6-7 other tables of people who were VERY upset also!! Our waitress told the girl at the cash register to only charge us for 3 fish dinners and 2 ice tea. The girl at the register was Soooo rude. My husband told her that we didn’t even get what fish dinners were. She said ” Well, your bill is still $33.00″ We will never go back again!!!

I’m always looking for a good meal of fish. It was a good day for me when they had an all you can eat fish dinner that day. Wait staff was very efficient getting me taken care of. Nice atmosphere also.

Used to be Corner Depot’s location. They have some of the same food itema and waitresses. The food is good and the price is fair.
