My husband and I ate there about a month ago. It was our second time eating there. I had the steak and it was cooked to perfection. My husband had the fish and chips and it was fantastic also. We had the spring rolls for an appetizer and we would definitely order those again. The service was spot on. We are going back to Gettysburg in early October and taking my parents who are from the state of Indiana and this is the first restaurant we will be taking them to.

We were greeted, seated and served by Sue. She was so sweet and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was 10/10. It was so fresh. We had the recommended bacon wrapped scallops, cream of crab soup, Maine crab soup, and the crab stuffed shrimp. It is very reasonable priced and the food was outstanding. We plan on coming back before we leave Gettysburg.

This restaurant excels at farm fresh and unusual fair. If you like excellent and exotic you must make it a point to go. I had ostrich done to perfection with juicy local green beans. The rating on google must be people looking for blasé fair.

I’m so thankful that I am able to find the restaurant to give me a reservation with out waiting for hour. Yes! ppl who come here know what the super famous place I am talking about. I saw the menu and I give this restaurant a chance. Somehow something I want to order is ran out but I still get an interesting order.

We have been coming to the restaurant for the past three years on our family vacations. We have made it a most do. We had come with larger parties and had great service. We called to make reservations on our most recent trip and we just received a call from the cook that they canceled our reservation only a few hours before we were supposed to go. His reason was he is the only one in the kitchen. Instead of giving us a option to wait, he canceled. While we liked the food and the wait staff, he was always rude to the staff and this was end of us patronizing the establishment.

Locals trying this place for the first time. We arrived around 7pm on Friday night and were there mostly alone with the exception of 1 other couple. The place was clean but had a very strong smell of fish when we first walked in. We were seated and waited on by Sue. The service was slow but good, don’t come here unless you have 90+ minutes. We got the bacon wrapped scallops as an app that were okay. For dinner my husband ordered the crab stuffed shrimp. There were many sharp peices of crab shell along with the crab inside the shrimp that were unappetizing. It was hard to enjoy while having to stop to pick the shell out each bite. I got the ahi tuna. It was cooked perfectly and tasted great but both my husband and my broccoli had a strange almost burnt taste. They were out of rice pilaf so we got garlic mashed potatoes instead which were okay. Overall the experience was okay.

My wife and I ate here for our date night and we are happy we did. When we ordered I got cream of crab soup for starters. For main coarse I order the crab stuffed salmon, mashed sweet potato, and sliced and salad with peppercorn parmesean dressing. My wife ordered Buffalo chicken flat bread. Both of us loved the food. Very tasty and on point. And on a side note and everyone knows, the worker shortage is hitting restaurants hard. Two ladies were running this place were fast and efficient. Kudos to you both working so hard, we appreciated you. We will be back
