Charged upfront, and didn’t have what we already paid for when we arrived, upcharged us for a bigger ham than we ordered, and was rude about it. Would get bad rating except that it tasted good, so they earned a few stars for that.

Ordered ham and turkey for xmas Eve dinner and both were fabulous. We had ordered a complete dinner for Thanksgiving that was great but I didn’t order until late for Xmas so most of the sides were not available. I have to plan ahead next holiday.

Very poor experience with this Port Charlotte location. Have bought meals for the holidays at numerous other Honey Baked Ham locations and have never had such a poor experience. Usually they are set up with good planning and I have had no problems. I was told my order that I placed was just a suggestion and that they already sold out of the items in my order. There were only 2 people working for Thanksgiving pick up and neither of them could care less about the order. No apologies and no consideration given whatsoever.

I was in the Port Charlotte area earlier this week so I decided to give this store a try. What a mistake! I ordered 1 pound of smoked turkey. When I questioned the $14.99 per pound price, the woman became rude and defensive. She told me that everything was more expensive now. When paying, I asked to make sure that I was getting smoked turkey, and I was assured that it was. No. It wasn’t! I ended up going to the Sarasota store for my ham because Pt. Charlotte wouldn’t slice me a pound of spiral-cut ham. Funny thing…ham and turkey were both $12.99 per pound there!

The young lady who waited on us was so kind and knowledgeable made it easier to decide. Customer service was above and beyond.. Turkey was great. I love the honey mustard sauce they sell bottles to take home too. The only bad thing is the location and driving past we thought I looked closed. There are no lighted signs (open) and I my bf didn’t pull in to double check I wanted to just keep going so they are probably losing business. Get a neon sign and give that girl a raise!!!!

Just went in the Port Charlotte store to get 2 sandwiches. The person running the store said she didn’t know how to make a sandwich and I would have to wait until her Mom got back from getting gas and she didn’t know how long that would be. Unbelievable!

The ham my family got was dry and fatty and when we called about it they said they don’t accept complaint and there’s nothing they can do. I do not recommend the Port Charlotte store to anyone. The corporate store said there’s nothing they can do its crazy as much money as people spends on these hams it’s just crazy never again will I get a honey baked ham from the port Charlotte store
