One of the friendliest places I’ve ever been! I came in today with a gift card that the code and pin rubbed off of. I was so sorry—and worried about what could be done. The server reassured me the syrup would give us the info we needed. He matched the card almost perfectly to the card we had!

Customer Service is not dead at the Athens HoneyBaked Ham Company ! I recently went in for ham by the slice at the end of the day but was told they were sold out as I visited during the busy Easter weekend. I was told to come back the next morning and they should have more prepared. The next morning I called before I left out, spoke with the owner who was one of the most sincere and genuine business owners. He stated how grateful he was for the business and apologized for not having ham available. When I arrived at the store, Matt (the owner) greeted me and we chatted about what his business philosophy is and the importance of an excellent customer service experience. He comped my ham. This was so unexpected and a true gift! I will return for lunch regularly to support this family business and gracious owner.

HoneyBaked Ham is more than a holiday food, HoneyBaked Ham is a make any day a good day food! Good sandwiches, good service. My family has visited this location for years and we always have a good experience. We love seeing Amy behind the counter when we walk in. She makes us feel like family every time and honestly keeps us coming back even tho we have other locations that are closer.. All together Athens is the best Honey baked location by far!

Just a delightful place to have lunch any day of the week! I have been coming to this location for 10 years and have always been thrilled with the owner, service, cleanliness of the restaurant, and quality of food. If you have never tried the Tavern Ham on toasted bread you will just fall in love with it! My wife loves the Ham Salad and hardly ever tries anything different. You just can’t beat their sandwiches – they are just fantastic!

Very disappointed, ordered 2 sandwiches that were supposed to have just ham, turkey, bacon, and swiss. They both somehow ended up with mayonnaise on them so I had to bring them back to get new ones after I had already gone back to work. But I believe rather than making new ones they just took off the parts that had mayonnaise on them and gave them back to me on a new bun because the sandwiches are substantially smaller than the ones I brought back. By the time I returned to work my lunch break was over so it was extremely disappointing to have to deal with this. Will not be returning to this establishment.
